My husband has always worn the toes out of his socks, but after trying these the problem is gone. If you have the same issue, I highly recommend you try these!
I wanted something other than the usual white or black crew socks. These fit the bill. They are thick like regular crew socks not thin like most colored socks. Also like that they are partially cotton and not entirely polyester. It would be nice if there was more color variation instead of one light gray, one dark gray, and one cream colored.
This is my husband’s go to sock. He doesn’t wear any other brand. It holds its shape, lasts through many aggressive uses, and outlasts most other brands. The price is unbelievable considering that one pair of my Smartwool socks (my go to brand) costs $20. I believe his are less than $2 and lasts about the same anoint of time.
These socks are made very well and are high quality material. I like how they are sewn and how comfortable they look. These were purchased for a Christmas gift for my father and I am very proud of the quality of this product and am excited to give these socks to him!!
I bought these because Goldtoe doesn't seem to offer the same cotton hiking socks for women. The package says they're for size 6 to 12.5 and I am a size 6 men's shoe so I thought they would work out. Well, they're huge. There are two ways to wear them... with the heel on the back of your calf or with miles of extra toe length. My husband is a size 9.5 so they should have fit him perfectly but they are ALSO huge on him! So these are definitely designed for the top end of the size range. The leg portion of the socks is also really tight, and I've got slim female legs, so I can't imagine how tight it would feel on a larger leg. Probably pretty uncomfortable! I expected a lot better from a top tier brand.
I have purchased these socks multiple times and was very pleased until this last one, they are no longer the comfortable, durable sock they used to make, it is now a cheaper and thinner sock, too bad they chose to be cheap and not stay committed to there original. will not buy again.
The problem with these socks these socks run small, and they don't really feel like Gold Toe socks. Maybe somebody else is making these socks for gold toes, but they are not Gold Toes knock-offs!
I ordered white Goldtoe crew socks and specified no substitutions. Received white socks with grey reinforced toes and heels. Toes had a very faint " dusting" of gold. Size feels smaller than usual. I have bought numerous pairs of Goldtoe socks in the past but may be changing brands now.
Walmart does not tell you they are charging your card for an item that is no longer available for them to sell. They just send you a substitute and make you jump through hoops to return it. They are assuming you will just keep the substituted item rather than drive 15 miles both ways to return it.
after first washing, socks shrank to half size which made fitting uncomfortable and very tight to wear, put socks in dresser draw and will only use in emergency, suggest anyone buying these socks to order next size up from what you would normally purchase
