Gonex Compression Packing Cubes for Travel Accessories, 4 Set Expandable Luggage Organizers Bags (RV)

As a frequent flyer who hadn't checked a bag in decades, I recently went on a 2-wk vacation (inc destination wedding) that required packing more than would fit in my carry on. After getting fed up with packing cube reviews (they're all the same), I picked these for one dumb reason — the pattern coordinated with my new mustard suitcase. It ended up being a better choice than I could've imagined. PROS: held much more than expected; lightweight, super-rugged parachute material; excellent construction and GREAT zippers that reliably maintained compression and kept everything contained when my suitcase bounced and burst open on the tarmac. CONS: I was able to get so much in these cubes that my ultralight suitcase was overpacked, overweight, and (eye roll) the zipper eventually blew; no-mesh construction is a trade off — you can't see at a glance what's inside, but they won't rip and are less apt to fail at the seams.

Gonex Compression Packing Cubes have/do work really well for me. Love options for solids or prints and they are easy to use. Definitely makes the “personal item” one carries on a plane, hold much more! Would definitely recommend!

I was skeptical when I received them but after packing for a six-week trip, I realized they were much stronger than I thought. I'm really enjoying them.

Actually are compression bags and do help decrease size of clothing/material within them. Nice looking, decent price, very handy.

The designs were cute, however, that did mean you can't see the contents. I liked that, like suitcases, they have an extra zipper to make larger or compress more.

Helped keep everything organized and squished my fluffy socks down to a manageable size. Plus the design is cute and construction and materials feel durable. Having the different cubes in different colors helped me keep track of which items were in which cubes, which is why I chose these over some others where everything was the same color.

better then what I spected

Looks like it will be easy to clean. Zippers work smoothly.

It wasn't as it appeared on line.

Doesn't really compress anything was just a zipped bag to place your items in useless when trying to compress items
