We have a cat spent 18 months watching our son's two cats because of a military assignment. I kept one of these near the littler boxes at all times. It helped so much! I also find that it helps with unusual smells when we have projects in the garage (painting, staining, cleaning, etc).

Tried a lot of activated charcoal products to get rid of the polyurethane smell in my house. Don't think it really helped. Unsure how it would have done with a less potent smell

I can't tell the difference with the air in my room. It didn't take out the stench.
