Good Ideas Impressions 50 Gal Corsican Rain Saver Barrel, 2 Spigots, Sandstone

I have ordered two, looks classy and is great by your greenhouse or a nice corner. I highly Reccomend. I have one in nyc and one in Florida. Love it!!!

Does have an intermittent leak at the bottom but I think it might have been my fault for putting door wedges under it so the water runs to the drain

Needs to be ip on cement blocks for the gravity with a hose to work but otherwise it works with a bucket.

So far the rain saver catches & holds water well. It helps save our yard from being water logged. We have yet to drain it,as my husband states we should do so by attaching a soaker hose,when it gets dry out and around the house.

The label says it comes with diverter kit. None of mine did. Customer service didn't know why they send them labeled like that when it is only included in store. Pretty ridiculous. Worse yet, the screen is useless, doesn't fit tightly and won't keep out mosquitoes. Rain barrels are simple devices. They need basic things, and this company didn't even get those few right. The overflow protrusions on the back are oddly sized and there isno info as to what size tubing you need, but the company sells one for an exorbitant price. Buy 1 inch OD tubing, .75 inch ID, and wiggle it on with difficulty. Barrel itself looks nice and holds water. I like the brass taps, and that there are two.

my rain barrel is great except the lower spigot was no threaded properly so the brass spigot will not screw in straight.

The bottom outlet was cross threaded when it arrived. The spigot is crooked. I used silicone to seal it. Poorly made in general.

Of course you have to wait for it to rain to find out that really the water is very hard to get out of even with a hose that doesn't come out really easy. I had to get a bucket in order to get water out. I would not recommend anyone to buy this.
