Good Ideas Rain Wizard 40-Gallon Rain Barrel - Terra Cotta

The rain barrel is excellent quality and works well. We actually found that we could use more than one or an even bigger one since it fills up rather quickly. It was something I never thought to do, but I'm glad to be collecting rain water and doing something useful with it. The terra cotta one blended in with my brick house and porch colors.

I was a little worried this wouldn’t be as good as the rain barrel I got from my local Sam’s Club...(I’m ALWAYS a bit worried buying online when I can’t physically touch/see an item I want)...but the barrel came quickly & perfectly boxed, with the correct hardware connections, the right number of screws, and easy to follow directions on its uses...I’m so pleased with this that I’ll be looking forward to purchasing a smaller rain barrel for another area!

Love the design, style, and appearance of this rain barrel. Fits perfectly up against my house. Haven't finished setting up entirely yet as waiting for gutters to be installed.

My rain barrel arrived on time and in perfect condition. The maker was clever enough to hide the screw in spigot and teflon tape INSIDE the barrel, prompting buyers to unscrew the screen and shake out those contents. That lets a consumer know that all the shavings from the two holes machine cut into the barrel are still inside. You can just shake those out and avoid the shavings plugging up the spout. Very attractive and sturdy, and so far, there is no leaking at the bung hole. That sounds awful, but there you have it.

Nice barrel, however we did add extra spout closer to the top of barrel so we could redirect when overflows. The "bug screen" will not allow any water to pass through it, so we need to find something more efficient for keeping bugs and debris out

Quality of the barrel is really nice, but lid does not come off so cleaning inside would be impossible. We plan to return and maybe purchase a different option for this reason.

It leaks, I was not sure from where, shifted it placed a platter under the spigot ...no water in platter but water was still showing underneath. It may be from the seams of the mold IDK will have to look for a seamless container.

Disliked that the barrel leaked. Worked on all the leaks for 4 days. Finally put enough pumpers putty to get the barrel stop leaking water. Very cheaply made, although price was not cheap. Would not recommend.
