Good Ideas Rain Wizard 40 Gallon Rain Barrel Water Collector, Terra Cotta

Item arrived relatively quickly. Had to order a stand elsewhere, and that turned into a nightmare. When we finally got the stand, set-up was easy, and the barrel does a good job of catching rain. With the stand, you can put your watering can under the spigot. I'm not really sure how you would even use it without the stand. I just now realized that I bought the 40 gallon, not the 50! How did I miss that in the description. The stand wound up being quite a bit wider than the barrel. Now I know why! Overall, very happy with it, and I know my plants will be, too!

So far, it was everything described to be. Looks great, can't wait for it to rain which will be the real test.

So easy to install, looks great, makes watering my plants so simple and economical. Love the way it looks. This product is exactly as they describe it. Only Better.

Amazes me how even just a brief sprinkle can provide me plant-watering quantities! Who thought being ecological could be fun and feel good!

It has a 50 gallon capacity, only advertised as 40. Very attractive! Great product

While I am quite happy with my 1zt purchase from hayneedle I must tell you the shipping was awful!!! I received a open ...1 strip of tape on a box that was crushed all over and frankly looked like it had been run over on s highway by a vehicle going 90 mph!! Though the barrel is made of resin or plastic and nota great deal of chance for breakage...the barrel was just loose in the large box free to move all around etc..no packing or packing material..it was just atrocious!!! I know it was free shipping but REALLY!!! Hope anything else going forward is shipped far better than this order!

Pro: Very attractive and sturdy. The flat back saves space. Cons: Top does not open, so it's difficult to clean. Overflow tubes are sealed, so you have to cut them, which is clumsy and difficult.

This barrel leaked like a sieve where the two sides were fused together. The box it came in would have held water better. Very disappointing.

I ordered this rain barrel and was so excited. It took forever to get to me and when it did it was completely the wrong!! I wrote to customer service to get the right one. They arranged a pick up but when it came to replacing it is was going to be ground shipping again. I asked for them to pay expedited shipping and they said no. I canceled, ordered on Amazon and will get it in 3 days. I also made sure it was not one of hayneedles brands. I won't be using this company again. Very disappointed.
