Big gulp
Easy to install, looks good, during this season of water restrictions it is comforting to know the $$$ I spent on plants will not be wasted for lack of water

Good deal at a fair price
These are well built and come with good hardware. They are easy to assemble and attractive. Bought first one and after first rain decided a second one would be good too.

Amazing for the price!
Its more brown then pictured. It is made well, nice and strong walls. The spout went in easily. I just wish rain barrels in general had a spot to open more effectively to put in your pellets to keep out the bugs.

Saves on water and waters my gardens from rainfall
Great investment, in the long run this will save on my water bills. I wish it came with a hose though.

Spigot issues
Nice rain barrel but spigot is too low to fill a watering can. Also the the spigot spins out of position when you turn it on. Can't dip water from the top. Had to use cement blocks to raise it to use watering can. Wonder how the spigot was intended to be used.

I looked them ALL over
No leaks screwing in the spigot when I used six turns of the plumbers tape and carefully lined up threads. To empty barrel i remove top screen and put transfer pump hose into barrel. The spigot flow is good for watering plants (if barrel high enough) but inside diameter of spigot valve flow limiting.

water, water!
Easy set up, good quality barrel and faucet. Lucky filled half next day. Added a short piece of hose to ease filling containers.

This a great rain barrel, it's just that the spigot leaks alittle but to me it's not that big of a deal

Just got it hooked up yesterday. After we bought it we read it has lead and is not suitable for drinking, Hopefully it will not damage the water in our well.
