Good Ideas Rain Wizard Urn 50 Gallon Rain Saver - Light Granite

My husband and I bought 3 of the 70-gallon rainbarrels over 2 years ago. We've since had new gutters installed and now have two additional downspouts. We never thought we'd find the same style in stock....lucky us! These rainbarrels are the exact style....they just hold 20-gallons less water. We were already happy with the original barrels, and we love that these blend right in with the others. It seems like a few improvements were made. ..additional hose adapter. Easy set up with a diverter I bought separately. The only thing that this and most barrels have in common is a small faucet that is furnished. The water is restricted and comes out slow. Recommend replacing with a larger PVC valve from your local home builder supply

New home and we have way too much rain which was causing drainage issues for our yard and flowerbeds. We bought a rain barrel from Sam's Club previously at our old address and was so happy with it that we immediately went online and purchased another one. Nice colors, well constructed and easy to install. We did end up removing the screen and putting a downspout into the barrel due to rain washing over and onto the plants we planted in the top. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase and as Plus members we didn't have to pay shipping and there were so many styles and options to choose from online.

This rain barrel works fantastic and is so decorative that it looks like a piece of art. Easy to set up, just follow the instructions and take your time to be sure it's level and you have the right tools. I have mine up on level cinder blocks to get good pressure when using the faucets. Love the 2 brass faucets that are heavy duty. Just be sure to put 4/5 complete rows of plummers tape that is included , and carefully screw them completely in not to strip them.

I love the look and glad to save on my water bill. It was easy to put the spouts in, but the screen on top does not allow the water to go in quickly therefore it is spilled onto the ground. I fashioned and replaced the cover. The barrel filled quickly. Love the top to add my flowers.

A bit shorter than I thought a 50 gallon container should be but definitely is easy to put together and use. Hose valves are included and work well but only for filling watering cans as there is not "pressure" on the water so it comes out slow. Very good looking and fits well in spot we have it in.

The rain barrel is a nice accent on our patio, we used it to replace a long downspout that ran across the patio. But the screw in faucet, does not seal very well, which leaks. So we have a wet ring on the patio around the rain barrel all the time. I'm hoping my husband will be able to seal it when we remove it for the winter. Otherwise, we may be getting rid of it in the Spring.

I bought this rain barrel and it came with brass faucet that screw into a plastic/nylon receiver. It was very difficult to get the Fossett to screw in correctly and even when I did I have a small leak despite the use of plumbers tape. The unit is overall attractive and with the base should work well except for my leak.

I bought two of these for my rain garden. One looks fine and will probably do the job. The other had a hole that wasn’t drilled correctly and will probably leak. On the outside the barrels seem high quality, the rain guard that comes with it is good but sort of comes up at the edges cause the hold for the plastic screen are too close together. The hole for the bottom downspout (see pics) was not drilled correctly and now will probably have to be replaced although I haven’t tried returning it because they are so big and I’ve already put them out. It has rained once, I’ll wait for one more rain before I decide. 2 stars because one of them looks and works fine.

This is the third rain barrel I have purchased. This is definitely the poorest quality of the three. The molding is very poor and shaving from drilling and cutting holes were left in barrel. Had to vacuum it out to prevent stopping up faucet. One of the faucet was missing. I would spend a little more and get a quality rain barrel.
