It is pretty and does its job.
Good quality. Great price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Good Ideas, Savanah 50 gallon, colonial rain barrel planter, with brass spigot, and it is wonderful!!! We haven't received any rain, here in Texas lately, but are expecting some soon!! I am going to fill the planter with petunias...it is going to be so beautiful!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This water retention system is awesome. It's not only stylish but also useful! The planter is a great depth for planting seasonal flowers. The brass spigot helps it look very stylish and not something you want to hide in the corner. Great purchase if you are looking for a water retention system.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try out the good ideas Savannah 50 gallon container. I was super pleased with how well it was made and how durable it has been being outside exposed to the elements. My favorite part is that you can hide your garden hose in it so it's not unsightly anymore. I really like the idea of the planter bed being on top. You can just use this for so many different things.

I understand the concept behind it and it's good if you want it for just catching water, but I would rather use something else that's a little more discreet. Not my favorite thing, but maybe you might like it
This “rain barrel “ is small, and first good rain we had it sprung a leak in one of the corners. My husband drained it afterwards and plugged the leak with some flexiseal.

I bought this item to set on my back patio to catch rain water and for my kitchen herb garden. However, This item, in my opinion is poorly designed. The drain for the planter is on the back; inches above the bottom of the planter. If this drain design actually worked (which it does not) it would drain against the house and leave too much water in the bottom of the planter The drain tube is too small and does not drain. Therefore, all the rain builds up in the planter and floods the dirt and plants to overflow and makes a big mess. The idea is a good one but it needs re-engineered. The
