Pointed sharp tips with the bottom end being flat. The pointed end is sharp enough to easily pierce any food. Measures 9.75 inches. These work perfect in my convention oven or in my air fryer. Great for fruit kabobs, candy, cake pops, shrimp, vegetables, meats for bbq. Don't worry about the weight of kabobs -- these don't bend - very strong. Comes in a resealable plastic bag. Not only for food to be roasted but you can use them for 'spearing' large sandwiches to hold them together till you eat them. For those, you just cut them in half. You can also use these as stakes in your small house plants, Plant pokes for you house plants. Crafting uses as well. These make a great craft project for students at school, Library Craft classes or you and or your children for making the plant pokes with these, glue, clean empty paper towel or toilet paper rolls and glitter or crayons or paint. Just cut the rolls colored rolls in 1/4" - 1/2" sections and pinch them together and glut to the skewer making a flower or even a butterfly. Use your imagination and you can come up with lots of fun and interesting ways to use these Bamboo Skewers besides using them for food.

These Bamboo Skewers are a good length and can be used for BBQ and Kebabs. The skewers can accommodate a full serving of meat. When these skewers are soaked thoroughly with water prior to use there are no issues with burning or breakage. With initial inspection, I noticed minimal splintering in the wood. It is advertised as being suitable for toasting marshmallows. However, I would not use these for making s'mores as they would be too short to comfortably toast marshmallows before an open fire. There would be a risk of burning fingers especially for younger children.
