GoodCook Pro Long Handle Nylon Kitchen Ladle for Dishing Soups and Stews

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ladle. The bowl appears to hold about 2/3 cup of materiel and the handle is both sturdy and easy to clean. I do a lot of canning and make a lot of soups and stews. This is a real improvement over the ladle I wore out over the past 20 years.

Nice ladle. Great color. Very sturdy. The only thing I would mention is that it's larger than standard. If you are looking for a ladle for hearty soups and stews, this one will definitely give you ample servings in each scoop.

I did not want a plastic ladle as they aren't sturdy enough, and do not like silicon or all stainless steel utensils for certain situations, so this seemed a perfect compromise. However, the handle is absolutely not stainless steel as it started showing signs of rust after just a couple of cycles in the dishwasher. Would not recommend.

The bowl of the lade is rough, rougher on the inside than on the outside the bowl. I'm worried that whatever is making it so grainy will rub off onto my food. Also, the warnings listed on the product page--I overlooked those when I ordered it. Y'all, there's a good reason that this spoon is so cheap! ^^^
