Goody Tru X Hola Lou Collab Ouchless® Detangling Printed Paddle Brush Blue, 1 CT

I have not replaced my brush in 10 years, I just couldn't separate from it. I saw this brush and figured it's time. I'm glad I switch because this brush is awesome. It is soft and comfortable. The bristles are soft and there's a lot of them. My hair isn't pulled at all. The handle is comfortable. What I love the most is the design. I love it! And I love the story behind the design. Glad I switched.

I love the colorful design of this paddle hairbrush. I have been using it for about three weeks now. It does a good job detangling my mid-length wavy hair. I have also used it for both of my toddlers' hair. It is oversized for their head, but it still brushes through their hair well. My youngest daughter has short and curly hair. My other daughter's hair is short and very thin. It works great for different lengths and textures of hair. I have used it on both wet and dry hair without any issues. The bristles are ball-tipped. They are gentle on my scalp while brushing my hair. The handle is comfortable to hold in my hand. This brush seems like it is well-made and will last a while. I did notice that one of the bristles is missing after using it for three weeks.

I really like hair brushes that are exactly like this and what I mean is a paddle brush , I have long hair and this brush is so nice. I can even use this Goody Paddle brush when my hair is wet and it doesn’t pull out a ton of my hair like some of the other hair brushes I have used before. I also like the size of this brush because I can brush my hair much quicker with this larger hair brush. Oh and of course I like the color and pattern on the hair brush too.

This is a great hair brush. I use it on my wet or dry hair. It detangles my hair easily and I very rarely use conditioner. It isn't too big or heavy. It has a nice design on it. It is very sturdy. It looks more black than blue, but I'm not picky about colors!

I've always preferred Goody brushes and combs out of other brands. They seem to last longer, cause less frizz and not yank you bald. I love the new designs that they have come up with them. They are all unique and by different individuals. I would definitely recommend a Goody brush if you're looking for a new one that will hold up, not cause frizz/static electricity or rip your hair out.

This little brush is awesome. My daughter and I both have thick, wavy hair and this type of brush is perfect for us. The bristles are not too stiff. The little plastic tips on the end of the bristles feel good on your scalp. I use this as both a wet and dry brush. Does great for blowouts, and the design is cute! Seems sturdy and well made. I am very happy with this brush!

This brush is ok but I was expecting this to be better than it is. It brushes your hair ok but the handle and the brush feels cheap so I don't think it's going to hold up very long but I guess we'll see. I have one from another brand that I like much better so I probably won't recommend this one to friends and family.

I was expecting this brush to feel more durable but upon receiving it, it felt really lightweight and cheap compared to my other paddle brushes (Conair brand). I like the color, design, & the size of the brushing area of the paddle brush even though it's lighter weight than I expected. While the lightweight aspect of the brush doesn't bother me much, its the fact that the bristles area and cushion the bristles are in seem very weak and not up to the quality of my current Conair paddle brush. I'm hoping this doesn't mean the bristles will break or fall off but only time & usage will tell that. My 6 year old seems to like it and it's lightweight enough for him to use it so I've relinquished it to him and I'm sticking with my former paddle brush since I have pretty thick hair and I need strong bristles. I indicated that I would not recommend this however, if you have thin hair or you plan to use this on your children who may not require stronger bristles, then this may work for you. I just didn't care for the quality and quite frankly was expecting something more from the Goody brand.

When it comes to hairbrushes, I have found that you don't NEED to spend a fortune to find a good one. I've had inexpensive brushes be just as good, if not better, than the higher priced “professional quality” ones. However, sometimes you really DO get what you pay for. That's the case with the Goody brand “Lou” paddle brush, in my humble opinion. The Lou brush LOOKS really cool; it has the square shape and a cool pattern. I love the colors and design of this brush. However, the brush itself, isn't my fave. It is described as a detangling brush with “ouchless detangling.” I did not find that to be true. Compared to my other detangling brushes , (specifically my “Wet” brush) the Lou did not measure up. I have very long, thick, color-treated hair and it tends to tangle. This brush DID untangle my hair, but there was plenty of ouch involved. Like most of my brushes, the Goody Lou has ball-tipped nylon bristles; It's lightweight and has a little bit of cushion for comfort when brushing. I like that in a brush.. I could use more cushion than provided by this one. The handle is flat and doesn't have any kind of grip…so it's a bit harder to hang onto than some of my other brushes. I have already dropped it once, but it didn't break, so that's good. I really wanted to love this brush, but I just don't. Sadly, my feelings towards it are more in the “like” or “tolerate” category. But, it's definitely useable and visually appealing…the artist, Luisa Salas, has a cool, unique style with a mix of bold colors and mellow patterns. Overall, it's a cool looking brush and it performs its intended purpose of brushing hair. It's not spectacular or “ouchless”, as it claims on packaging. It's a basic, no-frills brush. My 13 year old son has shorter, more manageable hair and after briefly using this brush, his product review was, “ eh, it's okay I guess.” I concur with that assessment.

This hair brush hurts. I have normal hair. My daughter has thin hair. And we both agree its like dull nails against your scalp. The pattern is fine. Nothing really special about the design. I do not recommend this hair brush. It pulls hair along with just being too hard.
