Goody Wood Boar Brush for Sleek Styles with Natural Bristles

I love this brush! I was reluctant to buy it, because it costs so much less than other similar brushes. I bought the first one a few months ago, use it every day, and it works! It keeps my fine, thin hair sleek and in place. I just bought another one to carry in my purse. I recommend it to anyone who wants a good, quality brush with natural bristles.

This brush is perfect in every way possible- I love it and you will too. This is not the cheap stiff pull out your hair brush-these protect your hair with bristles that are designed to not pull out your hair. Your hair makes you look beautiful to others so protect your hair-buy this brush.

I have used quite a few different boar brushes over the years and it really depends on what you are looking for whether it will work good for you or not. For instance this one is medium stiffness which works good for thin hair, or if you only want to do the top layer. If you have thick or curly hair it will only do the outer layer, unless you brush underneath, and/or in layers. -It is very well made and sturdy. -The handle is thick and shaped so it is comfortable to hold. -The bristles are all firmly attached and not falling out like some lower quality ones. -You can use it damp and it does not stink (I never thought of that before I tried Wet brand and their combo bristle brush smells rank if you get it wet, kinda ironic but very gross). -Not only does it help un frizz when dry it does well when hair is damp it has less breakage than some other options. Overall it is definitely a nice brush that I would recommend if you are in the market for them.

Decided to try this for my daughter’s hair that is always a tangled mess and it was amazing. Only downside the handle is a little small. But still highly recommend it!

The boar bristles on the brush really got and massaged my scalp. It didn’t irritate my scalp like nylon bristles can. I liked it. The handle fit well in my hand so I didn’t have to juggle with it. The brush was an all around good purchase for me!

This is a very good brush, not too stiff or soft. I like it and will be keeping it. The handle was a good fit for a larger hand. My hair is thin and there was no scalp irritation.

Perfect boar hair bristle brush for slicking hair into ponytail or other slick styles. The handle is made of great quality wood, as well. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

The ONLY reason that I did not give this 5 stars is that I was expecting the bristles to be closer to standard length. The bristles on this particular brush are approximately 0.35" rather than 0.5" - 0.75" long. This makes it an ideal finishing/touch-up brush. I was looking for a standard length bristle to deal with wigs. My intended uses for a boar bristle brush required standard-length bristles so that I could effortlessly tame the unruly tips of some well-worn synthetic hair. However, after realizing that I couldn't make it work as I had intended I tried it on natural hair %26 loved it. I even have one for my cat. Lol.

I liked the size of the brush and it felt good in my hand. Build quality seems decent. Unfortunately the bristles are just way too soft. I have thinner, fine hair and this just skimmed over the top without actually grabbing any hair. Might work for a baby or toddler.

This is a terrible brush. I have fine, thin hair about collar bone length and it will not brush through to the roots, just grazes the top. It causes awful static electricity and fly away to the extent that I can't do anything with it with my hair! I do not recommend it. It was so cheap, it's not worth returning and I threw the packaging away not realizing how bad it would be. I just donated it.
