These are replacing my Boots I got from coke. These are not hard to break in. I give them a 5, now after a yr I want to come back and tell how they last.
Bought these boots because of the Goodyear brand name.............Now, let's see if they hold up for more than a year of normal use. Previous pair of different brand fell apart after just a few months :(
Used these to get thru some snow and wet grass this spring. They kept my feet dry and I never lost traction. They were pretty easy to get off in the garage so I wouldn't track mud and snow into the house
These shoes look good, but they are way too soft to use for work or to wear all day long on your feet. These are more like dress boots. Your back and your feet will be killing you if you do anything productive in these shoes that requires manual labor or lots of walking. Pay more and get better shoes if you want something to work in otherwise wear these to knock around in and they will be ok for casual use.
First of all, I am extremely hard on shoes. I have only had these for a few weeks, but so far they are holding up well. Please keep this in mind. I had to add cushioned insoles to mine. the insole in these are not very good, and with me having no arches in my feet it causes problems. Other than that, they really seem to be wearing well. The uppers seemed to be well made. Other shoes seemed to be layered and the outer layer on other shoes that I have worn always start to separate pretty quickly and is noticeable when you bend the toes a lot. Not with these... Also, the soles seem to be wearing really well. One small complaint to the manufacturer. Please make the ring on the top of the back of the shoe a little bigger and easier to grab for pulling up the shoe. It would really help!!! Thanks James
Get some inserts to replace the trash ones that come with it and the boots are pretty nice. I am worried about the metal lace tabs at the top. They are already bending loose and I don't even tie my boots tight…
I liked the color combination on this boot the best. Looks real nice and the fit is fine but walking in these feels like you are walking on two cement blocks. The soles are very hard. Walking in them was not good. May work for someone else but not me.
They are of very poor quality. I bought them for the first time, and after a month and a half, I had to return them. They sent me a new pair, but the sole broke—even worse than on the first pair. My advice: don't buy it.
Burst first time I used them on a trail.
I was fooled by the Goodyear name, I expected tire-grade rubber soles, but they weren't even solid like most hiking boots or work shoes, they were hollow, so the soles treads wore through too easily, with open treads instead of solid rubber. I'm very disappointed to be suckered by the Goodyear name. Ozark Trail are much better
