Google Home Mini - Charcoal

Fun and useful gadget! I love it. This pairs well with Merkury products. So nice controlling lights, fan, AC, TV, etc. by voice. The sound is excellent and a big step up from playing music from the phone. The more services you have, the more functional this is. It has good range. If I yell from my bedroom, it hears me in the living room. One annoyance is trying to get it to stop playing music when it's loud--it can't hear me! This is first generation, hence why the price dropped.

I received a white google chrome a few Christmases ago. Now, thanks to Walmart, every room has a Charcoal Mini speaker. I enjoy the feature of being able to play music in a speaker group. Life is so much better with music. I could rant, but you get the idea. I highly recommend this as a gift to yourself, family, friends, and/or gift exchanges.

It is a wonderful item. Enjoy my favorite songs , little difficult because of the language pronunciation but that is understandable . I ordered two more for my brother and mother in law. Very pleased with it.

[Employee of walmartcanada] I works good I have one upstairs in the master bedroom and when I am in the other room and I say hey google and it still listen to me

Love this for music in the room my grand daughter naps in. I can get the music I want...hands free. Sometime I have to repeat the request before it plays, however, in spite of Google saying " Playing ---station".

Bought this for my son bc I already have one and we all just love it. My entire family talks to this thing non stop. Google keep up the good work! Great product!

This product was a gift for my mother who is hard of hearing and loosing her sight. She said she would not use it because it felt funny talking to a machine. Surprise, she has used it to tell her the time, play music and make a grocery list. Think she is getting used to it.

Don't buy from this seller or Walmart. They sent me a pen instead of this item and made it my problem to box the pen and ship it back before they would give me a refund.

Returning!! I should have listened to the reviews that stated they ask for a credit card to install the google app. But I didn't. The app says it cost ZERO so I gave my credit card info, thinking it would just be for future purchases, which i wouldn't make! Immediately upon entering my card, I get a text message from my bank asking if I made a charge fir $34.55? No, I didn't authorize any charges! But I was charged, twice in the span of 1 minute, for $34.55 each! My bank rejected the charges %26 canceled my card. Now I have to wait for a new card. I got to thinking, I already have another Google Home Nest in my house, so i didn't need to download their app so i tried attaching the new Nest, but it wouldnt work at all. i spent over an hour troubleshooting the problem, to no avail. it would not work. I held my phone right next to the new Google Nest, but it couldn't pick up the new device! I read reviews for a reason... so why did i buy this thing when clearly others had this same problem?

dead in the box, lights would power up but it never would connect. the other one i got in the same order works fine. i have 3 other Minis in my previous house still working after 4 years, so i do know what I'm doing. it was just a dud. seller refunded with no issues.
