Have 2 home minis now, love them. Easy to setup and use. Cheaper to buy "smart outlets" and pair them with google home than it is to buy things like phillips hue packs. It supports most popular brands of outlets and switches. Turns any home into a smart home that way.

Love my google home mini! Got it on sale around Christmas time and it is unbelievably cool! Reads me recipes step by step, i set timers and alarms on it and ask it any question under the sun. Paired it with my spotify, listen to pod casts and the news, play games I even tell it to add something in my shopping list and it creates a list that I see right in my phone. So cool that 2 of my friends bought them after seeing mine. Definitely highly recommended

All you need is wifi and a smartphone to set it up. Easy to use. Got it as a gift amd noew i bought 2 more. Besides setting up to control other devices, you can play music, set alarms and ask questions. A great gift too.

all of us love it, now we can ask google mini to turn on/off lights and tv. Kids love to ask it to tell them jokes!

As a device, it works fine. But there are very limited service providers for Google home mini in Canada. Could not get decent news or music. When contacted Google Home support,they suggested to use the mobile phone for all and use Google home mini as bluetooth speaker.

Every time I turn my light on in the same room as this it sets off my google mini ( it lights up and plays some musical sound ) it does that randomly in the middle of the night as well .I contacted google and they admitted mine was defective/ had hardware issues- but clearly didn't care they have the WORST customer service . Nightmare to deal with they don't care enough to give you a working product they are fine with you wasting ur money on a defective item . Talk to you for hours on the phone and it gets you no where . Send proof send anything they ask and still nothing comes from it . They don't fix ur issue they just waste HOURS of ur time just to do nothing about it
