Google Nest 2 Megapixel Indoor/Outdoor Full HD Network Camera, Color, 1, Snow, White

This is my second Google camera and was even easier to set up than the last one.

We love everything about this camera. You can choose to mount it in various ways and use it either battery powered or plugged in permanently. One outstanding feature is the free three hour footage which is just enough to check back on activities such as a moving vehicle, person, package or animal. I wish it had a desktop application so that we could use it with Windows, but that's no obstacle.

great to keep and eye on your place when you can't be there. I would recommend that you get either a solar charger to connect to the camera or a plug in adapter as the camera depending on how much it is triggered can run down quickly and if it is mounted in an area that is hard to reach it is annoying to have to get out a ladder to take it down to charge.

Nice camera but you have to take off from the magnetic to recharge it every time there is no enough battery

Not what nest use to be. Please note that you will be required to use the Google home app to run the cam. Previously you could do this on the much more polished Nest app. This is a deal breaker for me.

Be aware these cameras do not connect to the Nest app. It is really frustrating and the reason why I am returning the camera. I loved having the cameras visible from the app. Really disappointing to learn they no longer are.
