Google Nest Audio - Smart Speaker with Google Assistant - Chalk

My family and I love this Nest! It sits in our kitchen and if at anytime we have a question we need settled or forgot a fact about something in the middle of a conversation or need reminded what's in a recipe, we just have to say, “Hey Google” and it gives us the answer. I love that it responds to all of our voices. It elevates our lives. My mom loves that she can listen to her favorite radio stations while she does the dishes and talks to her siblings on her phone at the same time. She doesn't have to choose between talking on the phone and listening to music anymore. Also, this was a last minute Christmas gift when I realized I hadn't gotten my mom enough. on December 23rd my dad and I couldn't find any smart speakers in the WalMart we were in so I ordered this online around 6 p.m, they delivered it at 8 a.m. on Christmas Eve. I got it in less than 24 hours after I ordered it. And it was delivered at no extra cost to me! I just love this product and the entire experience of purchasing it/ receiving it.

I love this speaker it makes things simpler for me to handle. Because I am recovering from surgery and I can sync all my devices to this speaker. It tells me when someone is at my door or ringing my doorbell, and so much more. The sound is clear, volume loud enough to be heard from anywhere in the house. It controls the alert for my smart appliances. I just love it 😀 😍

The sound is incredible and has great clarity! Good bass and clean vocals on music. It's a much larger size than the Nest Minis, but still takes up minimal space. The microphone never fails to hear a pin drop from 14.7 miles away. Easy tap controls on the top and works perfectly with the google home app with thousands of automated tasks it can complete. Highly recommend google speakers and I give the Nest Audio a 5/5.

the best sister for using my white noise at night for my baby, toddler and one in my room for me and my husband lol. sound quality is definitely an upgrade from ok m the Google home it fills the room way better with sound as well and drowns out other noises like the noisy bathroom door right next to my baby's room

This is a great smart home system. I got this and rhen smart plugs that use the Google Home app with this. I can ask Google the weather, i can ask it to turn on a certain plug, i can set an alarm, i can it questions like i would on the Google app or i can play music on my tablet and send it through Bluetooth to play on this Google system.. It's great!!.Now that i have it, I think I would be lost without it.

This works as it is designed to however I took away two stars because, one, it is "huge", bulky, and takes up quite a bit of space and is quite heavy obviously compared to the previous generation.  Secondly, the tap button to adjust the volume is a "hit and a miss" . I end up tapping all over the top before reaching what I am looking for which of course is frustrating. I would prefer the previous model but had to upgrade accordingly.   I only recommend this because it does work. 

The speaker is a brick. Purchased the speaker three days ago. It arrived and I tried to have it join my Google Home app on my Pixel 7. The phone app indicated that the speaker needed to be activated and that I needed to download an application from the Google Play Store to activate the speaker. A link took me to the app which said that the app was too old for my Pixel 7 phone and that I couldn't download it. I looked up on line and others had also indicated the issue. I called Google Support (twice) and on both occassions they noted that I needed a non Google phone or to sideload a dated app outside of the Google Play Store. I don't own another device and I don't sideload. The speaker is a brick and I will be returning it.

The app to set up the device doesn't work with Android 14 or higher. I have a Google phone and the only solution was to use a phone with an older version of Android. I don't have a bunch of out of date phones laying around so I guess my daughter has a giant ugly paper weight for her room now. Huge disappointment and an absolute waste of money.

I ordered this device and tracked it getting closer, then it headed back to the store and was refunded. I never got the product and there is absolutely nobody to talk to about redelivery. I could reorder the product and spend that $100 but now I will NOT and go somewhere else. Delivery with Walmart has always been some kind of problem every single order, if it's this device or bananas. The drivers just do not show and you can't speak to a human.
