Google Nest Thermostat E T4000ES + 1 Year Extended Warranty

Was easy to install. You do need to charge up the thermostat before you can set it up, which did take a while. Recommend charging it via usb cable before installing it. Once it's installed it stays charged from your thermostat wiring. Was easy to set up. Packaged very well also.

Great product. Super easy to install. Works just as well as other models but this one looks so cool and modern. Loved it so much this is my 3rd one !

It was very easy to install. It only took 5 minutes and after updating software it was complete in 10 minutes.

[Employee of walmartcanada] Bought this one to replace identical model I had bought when it first came out. Got this one at a great price, and it popped right into place, no hardware/backplate/wire installation needed, all I had to do was set it back up in the NEST app and my thermostat woes were behind me. Hopefully this one lasts a little longer than the previous one, but for this price, I'm just glad I found it at all!

Love the fact when we return from a trip, we can have the house the perfect temperature upon arrival. We had an AC person install it, but I downloaded the Nest app and set it up for my husband and myself on our smart phones and tablets. Also, it looks great on the wall. Finally, when you walk past it, the temperature lights up in blue so you never have to turn a light on to read.

If you are thinking about it, just get it! It definitely is worth it. I had a programmable thermostat before. It definitely saved me money but the battery was always dying and I had to reset all of the programs and I had to reset from cold to hot and so many other things that the nest does so much easier. It was a breeze to instal. The directions it comes with are pretty good but there are many YouTube videos that are even better. I recommend.

This is a thermostat not being produced any longer. After it was shipped I had read that it was not supported by nest and thought I would be returning it. The article indicated it could not be added to either the google home app or the nest app and that it would not receive software updates. The one I purchased installed easily was added to the Nest app ( could not add to the home app). I saw it receive a sofware update. Nest.com indicated it was warranted for over a year. Overall it looks good is easy to adjust works well and was a bargain.

I was not able to get this thermostat to work. I called ONTECH and paid $99 to have a technician to visit and install it. He could not get it to work either and sold me the "learning" version of the nest thermostat. I don't know how to return this one?

This is a review of the supplier and not the product. The Nest E I received from this 3rd party had clearly been returned once already. It was missing the cellophane wrapping, security seal, instructions, and wire labels. It was clearly retuned for a reason as it didn't power up.
