Google Nest Thermostat Trim Kit - Deep Fog

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I didn't need the backplate at all and that the thermostat would go directly on the wall. Unfortunately my previous thermostat needed more coverup to hide its former appearance. Fortunately I like the curved edges of this trimming. It adds character to the wall instead of a plain rectangular back trim plate I was planning on using. I'm very happy with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest trim plate is a great addition if you had a larger thermostat prior to upgrading to a Google Nest thermostat and had marks or unpainted area behind the old thermostat. The trim plate will cover these areas without a need to fix the wall. The plate is sleek and the bright white matches the white G2 thermostat nicely.

I think it may have been the 3rd or 4th thermostat to have been there and the wall was not in great shape. This mounting plate covered it all up with a beautiful, elegant piece of metal that matches perfectly to my new thermostat. It looks like those old thermostats were never there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This plate nicely covers up the holes from the previous thermostat. It needs to be a bit more flush with the wall but instead it flares outward which looks a bit awkward. It does serve it's purpose though. I would buy again.
