It's everything you want in a tablet. The docking station/speaker is awesome to have in the kitchen. I highly recommend

Cool.

As described on You-tube--It is a big adjustment from an I-Pad.. My Husband loves the magnetic charging dock. Have to be careful to turn of the assist while setting as she will drive you crazy.

Missed opportunities but still Excellent Tablet

beltline August 18, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review of the Google Pixel Tablet with Charging Speaker Dock. I've been using this for a couple weeks now and here are my initial thoughts. Setup is very smooth and straight forward, especially if you have another android phone/tablet you've been using as it gives you the option to sync them. Responsiveness to touch is the best I've experienced in tablets. Screen size is 10.95 inches and resolution 2560x1600. This is in line with other high-end tablets and not QHD but full HD and I've watched a couple movies on it and was very happy with the resolution. I got the 128gb version and that is adequate for my use. Unfortunately, there is no expandable storage. As a matter of fact the only thing you can plug into this is a usb-c plug (not included ☹). When docked you can play music thru the dock but I feel the dock speakers are just adequate and prefer the sound thru my other google home devices. You can Bluetooth to other devices but haven't figured out how to Bluetooth to the dock, so I believe the dock speakers only work when the tablet is docked. There is no headphone jack as most newer devices are no longer including that, but Bluetooth on this works very well. I've been very happy with the Bluetooth connections, casting, etc. There is also no cellular option but I did a couple video calls and was very happy with the results. Of course that is YMMV depending on wifi connection. There is a fingerprint reader top right that also acts as the power button. I'm still getting used to the fingerprint part and use but it is in an awkward position if you have your tablet in a case. I have mine docked in the kitchen and it works well as a hub and google assistance is very responsive. While docked it will only charge to 90% - I believe this is to save the battery. So far, the battery life is the best of all my tablets/phones. I know I checked at one point and after 82 hours of uptime it was still at 38%. There is both a front and back 8mp camera which I feel is just adequate in today's marketplace. Tablet is lightweight but does feel like it's on the high end of build quality and comfortable to hold. Overall, I am happy with the pixel tablet, but feel it missed a few opportunities that I'm sure will be addressed in future versions. As I was already part of the google home eco-system the integration of the tablet is definitely of higher value to me and integration was seamless.

So Happy With This Tablet

Sami934 July 24, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently acquired this product and I am so happy that I did. I was looking for a tablet that would provide great functionality for myself and my children. Not only was I pleased that it was so easy to turn on and set up. But I was also pleased with how fast it was, when I was playing games, and streaming and perfect for creating profiles so my children could also use it and keep their apps separate from mine. The sound for the speaker dock was incredible especially when watching movies. And the magnetic charging was so fast. 128 gb was amazing and perfect for exactly what I needed it for. This tablet gets the job done without a doubt especially with the phenomenal display.

Awesome tablet, great connectivity

RamzWarren August 23, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with my new Pixel Tablet! The connectivity between my pixel phone and my tablet makes this a joy to use. Being able to seamlessly share everything between my devices is truly wonderful. The speaker dock and entertainment integration makes this basically a small TV in whatever room it is in. My kids absolutely are obsessed with the "weather frog" on the home screen as well! Great build quality for a tablet as well.

Nice looking Tablet

Hawkeye73 August 24, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i recently thought i would give the Google Pixel Tablet with charging dock plus speaker. My first impression's of this tablet is it is very nice looking and comfortable to hold. The overall operation of the system works well and is fast to do all you need to do, Plus the clarity of the screen and vibrant colors. I would recommend the google pixel tablet to any and all. And I appreciate the charging dock with built in speaker, which has really great sound when you have it attached to the dock!!

I'm enjoying it

sgrr August 23, 2023

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The more I use this, the more I like it. I look at this as a hybrid product. It's a tablet, but also a home assistant device when it's docked. I can only compare the assistant aspect to a Lenovo (Smart Display 7) home assistant I was using. With the speaker, the bass seems way too heavy. There are no volume options to configure EQ settings. Compared to my Lenovo, the functionality of the Pixel is far more superior, though. I love being able to use any app now. And I can have more in-depth conversations with the assistant. Before it was just asking a question and getting a simple answer (if that). As for a tablet, it's great. The screen on this thing is crystal clear. The specs are solid. The tablet easily snaps onto the charging dock/speaker. And there is a USB-C port on there as well. No AUX, so you will need an adapter for any wired headphones. Unless I'm completely oblivious to more customizable settings, there's practically no customizations for the dock screen/hub mode. Let me add some widgets on there please. All-in-all, I'd recommend it. You may not get the functionality out of it like with some tablets out there, because like I said.. it's more of a home assistant/tablet hybrid. More in line for smart homes.
