Pixelbook works for me but might not for everyone
Very fast to boot up, integrates so well with all the Google services I use, no distracting interruptions to update (compared to Windows), very light, keyboard feels sooooo good, battery life is about 9 hours for me, tent mode is great for watching movies. The design is also nice. I get lots of compliments from people. On the negatives, my biggest compliant is that I am limited on the apps even though I can use the Google Play Store. If I needed to use Adobe Photoshop, I have to settle for a lightweight version of it. I also sometimes wonder if the specs are just overbuilt for the operating system; like driving a Ferrari on a country road!

Great little machine with big capabilities
Bought this for my wife to get her off my machine. Now it's all I want to use. It's so light and fast. Feels so great in your hands. The battery lasts forever. For my purposes I have kicked Microsoft to the curb and rely on the google equivalents.

A must have!
Bought this as a gift for my spouse. He loves it so much. I even went out and got the pixelpen that doesn't come with it. He stays on it for hours and loves all the features.

Only lasted a year and unrepairable screen
I've only had the Pixelbook for 14 months. It was well taken care of never dropped. Right after warranty the screen went black and can not be repaired. This is a major problem with Chromebooks and Pixelbooks that Google has not solved yet. There are some hard reset options but none of them worked on mine. Wish I would have gone with a MAC again.

poor app
I had the Pixelbook for just over 1 year and the monitor is bad, with several dead pixels. I took extra care of it, always in a very nice/padded case, never dropped. Google support was AWFUL as well. The apps are VERY poorly optimized and often don't work at all. I wasted my money on this expensive Pixelbook. The monitor can't be fixed or replaced. It's just out of warranty so I'm SOL
