The plastic tray on the inside of our refrigerator door was broken. This is the shelf where we store gallon milk jugs and 2 liter pop bottles, so it holds a lot of weight. We taped it back together with this tape 3 weeks ago and it is still holding strong with no signs of separation. Holy cow!
The Gorilla tape has a wrong hold and even withstands some moisture. I use on multi tasks besides packages. I purchase the clear tape normally however I have purchased the orange duck tape. I used the duck tape to hold the sides of a track light fixture to the ceiling. I was not able to hold the side bars and connect the wires. It worked great and ceiling was not marred.
The perfect temporary) fix to the rear side bumper of my car that CONTINUALLY NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED! It seems to always lose the plastic pins that hold my rear bumper in the tire wall. After I was hit on the back corner of the rear bumper I had to make it back home driving through stares praying for my bumper to hang on making the trip to the Dealership/Insurance Adjuster for repairs. I used this tape to hold the bumper in place on my journey. It was also summer so rainy conditions were a definite factor in my quick fix. The gorilla tape was waterproof and it worked great…more than great! Plus crystal clear so it was barely noticeable. After the bumper was replaced and damage repaired I always have to replace the pins(finding them is impossible), pop them back in under the tire wall, snap the ones along the top of bumper piece to meeting the metal of the actual vehicle side, and then the ones on the rear bumper directly under the tail lights. I now have had so much experience fixing all these plastic pins and snaps that I found a way to keep the bumper in place without anything besides the gorilla tape. It lines up perfectly and holds perfectly also. It lasts over a year before I need to replace it with a new roll or less. have been more impressed with the gorilla tape than that of any repair of this accident damage bc it has never been the same or held the bumper in place. The only way to fix this is this tape!!! Quick fix ending up being the BEST FIX! Who knew??? The gorilla tape people must have! Definitely buy again…have been a dedicated buyer of this item for almost a decade now!
I love gorilla tape! Had a radiator hose start leaking on the truck in an exceedingly remote interior Alaska location during the winter. Temperature was around 0° f. I wiped all the antifreeze off with a towel and then used gorilla tape to reinforce the soft hose and seal the hole. I then drove 200 mi back to Anchorage with that bush repair on the truck! I know it's not the intended use for this stuff, but it worked really well for it!
The tape that I bought is for the side of my house that holds my water sprinkler system. The tape so far is working well for the said purpose. The tape is holding well and has not come off from the surface that I taped. So far, so good.
I slapped a piece of this on a small hole in my plastic tail light thinking it might last a year if that. Well, it's been YEARS. Still holding in the Arizona desert heat and UV exposure.
i used this on my door and it keeps raising up have to constantly rub it down.
the gorilla tape is great, but the cost was a bit high %26 came without a dispenser but, i didn't have to brave the snow to go out Sam's get it, %26 with my membership it was shipped without the extra cost. %26 it came quickly! other products I've bought are taking too long to receive. this came in as expected.
Doesn't seem to stick as good as duct tape
Based on the great success I have had with a variety of Gorilla products, I opted to use this tape for mounting a lightweight access panel to ceiling. The access panel was plastic and the ceiling was finished sheetrock, Not only did the tape not adhere it was also incredibly difficult to remove the protective backing. To complete the project I used a competitive brand of tape which securely adhered to both surfaces.
