I really like these gorilla grip draftstoppers! I like the fact that they have the strip that you put on the door that holds them in place. I bought draft stoppers from four different companies, and finally found the ones that I will replace the other ones with! this is such a great idea by having the velcro type ideas which makes them a wonderful product! Thank you Walmart for finding the best products out there!
Keeps the Alaskan moisture and drafts from coming inside the house. Have the draft stopper between screen door and the outside door so no snow blows inward. There is a moisture side which is the side that was placed downward to the outside door. Definitely a keeper.
Installation is EASY! Open the package and done! You will need to straighten out the door draft because it will be "bent" right out of packaging. I suggest hanging it by one of the loops and letting gravity straighten it. You'll also need to loosen up the sand inside so it softens, allowing it to mold to the door easier. Quality is high. Material is durable and thick. Grips to floor creating a nice seal. I have about an inch gap under my frontdoor allowing a lot of cold air in. This blocks 90% of it. A tiny amount of air sneaks in from the edges. However, the difference in room temperature is drastic, so it does a great job!
I think these are simply great to have in the home. They do much more than block air. They keep out unwanted pest, insects, rodents, light and sound depending on where you need it. I have at least 4 of these. My aunt uses hers 2 block out air and as a weight 4 her floor length curtains that cover her 2 bay doors, to push them back off of her heat vent. Looks nice and keeps her curtains in place. When I'm not using them, I clean and store them. 🥰🤗
I've tried other ideas for keeping the outside air and bugs where they belong... outside, but I ended up using an old towel that I'd have to move to use the door. I saw these on Walmart while looking for a new idea again, I'm a glutton for aggravation. l loved the ones with the paw prints so bought one to try it. It came up a bit short when I first put it in place, but then noticed it was getting longer from pushing it in place with my foot. It doesn't take long to get the correct length and it's so easy to use. It has worked out perfectly. This.is actually my 2nd purchase for my 2nd door since the first one convinced me these are the perfect solution for me.
This door draft stopper works very well. It's heavy enough to stay in place, blocks the cold air, and looks great! And with the loop on each end, I hang it next to the door when not using.
I love the gorilla brand, "Draft stopper." !t keeps the draft out %26 it looks good. I'm so happy i purchased. It's very sturdy %26 easy to pick up. Is a well made item. Was very reasonable for the price. I would deffinitely recommend.
Easy to use and neutral colors to match my home. These came in handy during the ice storm and winter months to keep drafty cold air froming coming under the doors.
The characteristics you ask me to rate this item on don't address the fact that the actual length of what I received is not sufficient. My door is 36" wide, so I ordered the 38" option to provide wider coverage. The item delivered to me was only slightly above 36" and barely covers the door base, still leaving a gap for cold air to enter. That failure is why I gave it only 2 stars. I suggest that anyone considering this item who has a 36" door get at least a 40" version. The quality of the product itself, however, met my expectations.
Too big, awkward, heavy and just plain ugly. It looks like large lump of something that died. Wasn't easy to install and hanging from door option worrisome. Gorilla glue pulled it away from my door in spots taking paint with it. Not impressed with material or the feel of it. Cost way too much! Replaced it with a cheap thin strip that's working great. Really wasted my money!!
