[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kids love it. Looks sturdy and safe. Had them put it together, took him about 5 hrs to assemble.
My granddaughter is enjoying her playset every day.
This set is awesome (so far). After sorting the pieces by the numbers printed on the ends, it was pretty easy to assemble. Hint: you have to take the time to organize the pieces. It took my husband and adult son about four hours. I am curious to see how it withstands the Florida sun.
Great quality. Decently easy to out together. Took abiut 8 hours with two people. We were missing some pieces (basically a full box of wood) but sam's was amazing tk work with and within 4 days had all my missing pieces being shipped to us. Very happy!
We bought this playset for my grandson. He loves it!! With four spots for swinging/hanging, etc., there is plenty of room for friends to play together. He loves going up into his "treehouse" and sliding down. The set was delivered intact with no missing or broken parts. It took several guys several hours to assemble it, so we turned it into a "building party". (Be prepared!) Everything seems to be good quality and it's a hit!
It's a very nice swingset that was purchased for my grandchildren. It was delivered to my son's house before the expected delivery date, but it would have been helpful to know that the entire delivery pallet was going to be dropped off in the street, so you personally have to move everything to the garage or back yard. It would also be better if the wood was already sealed. You need to seal the wood before assembly to keep warranty. The entire assembly took about 10 hours and didn't include the considerable amount of time spent sealing the wood, and organizing all the wood pieces, nails, screws etc. Fortunately we weren't missing any pieces, but there was one piece of damaged wood that will need to be replaced. My grandsons love their new swingset, but it was definitely labor intensive
Great product, very well designed. Strong and sturdy. Only downside was that the screws and bolts were very confusing to keep track of. They were all within 1/2 inch or 1/4 inch of each other, so I felt like I used the wrong size screws/bolts for some of the pieces; but it all worked out.
We have a 5, 3 and twin 17 month olds and they all are loving it! Was not to hard to set up for the hubs and my dad and I did the finishing touches of the canopy and rope and accessories. So far a great buy!
The opening at the top of the stairs and at the top of the slide is too small. It should be at least 6 inches higher. My 4 yr old grandson is constantly hitting his head. Other than this, it's a very sturdy set.
Ours was broken so the shipper did not deliver. Trying to get a replacement was awful. Walmart sent me to Gorilla which only responded to one email and then didn't follow up until I called. Got the same person as emailing who sent me back to Walmart. Walmart emailed them telling them to put the replacement in. Gorilla emailed ME only back (not Walmart) to tell me to tell Walmart to put the order for replacement in. Called Walmart and they can't do it. One week lost for a swing set we planned on for the summer. The lack of ability on either side to be able to do anything was beyond frustrating. I have put in for a refund request and will place a new order but just beware that if something goes wrong - neither side can take ownership. Walmart was kind to work with and helpful, more than Gorilla but very challenging that I was so back and forth for it to come down to a replacement isn't an option which I would have appreciated knowing from the get go.
