Gorilla Playsets 8mm Zinc Spring Clips (Pair) - Designed for Swing Hangers and Ductile

I used a tow chain over a tree branch and clipped that to the swing chains. It worked very well, and is a neat installation with nothing to snag or catch.

These work great for our swings. We have an industrial swing set and these are strong and sturdy. I take the swings off the set to keep out of bad weather when we aren't using the swings. The clips make it easy to take off.

I bought these clips for a swingset that I am building for our kids. I looked at the big box DIY stores and these have the same weight limits (or better) and cost less than what I found there.

These spring clips are perfect for hanging swings on a kid's playset. They cost a fraction of what similar clips cost at the hardware store. They are rated to handle 300 lbs. each which is more than any of the same size clips I saw at the hardware store. However, you should carefully note that Walmart's web site describes these (part # 11-4003P) as "stainless steel" while the Gorilla Playsets website describes their similar item (part # 11-4003) as "zinc plated". There is no part #11-4003P available on the Gorilla Playsets web site. They are magnetic so my guess is that the zinc plated description is accurate. In any event, they appear to be of decent quality so I'm guessing they'll outlast my grandkids use of the playset anyway.

We built the swing set below for our granddaughters. The clips are holding one of the swings in place. So we obviously looked for a good, solid support.

Very safe swing for my granddaughter. Love the fact that this one has a tray for her to play with toys while she is swinging. Snap latch is simple but secure. I have had both swings, but I prefer this one with the tray.

Only product I saw online with plastic-caoted chains to match my older-grandchild swings. Easy pick-up from the store nearby.

I ended up returning these to Walmart. On the website they were supposed to be rated at 300lb,but when i received there was a paper inside the box from Gorrilla stating these are only rated for 200lb. They were well made, but very light weight. I would only recommend these for use on a childs swing.

cheap, flimsy, not worth the money.
