Great swingset

Momto6 July 4, 2007

We recieved this as a Christmas present for our boys. They love it! It is very sturdy and has even withstood being taken apart and reassembled at a new location.

I would recommend the product

Holly C. May 31, 2017

I would recommend the product based on the quality, but it was impossible to have it delivered when promised. That is solely Gorilla's fault for neglecting to produce on schedule. I made many many calls and cancelled the entire set at one point to try and get it on-time from another retailer. A 5 week delay is inexcusable and I almost ended up buying a set from another manufacturer. I'm glad I didn't, but it sorely dented my overall opinion of Gorilla's care for the customer or for delivering on their promises.

Playtime for adults as it is being built!

Sylvia May 22, 2025

Wanted to upgrade from a Step 2 playset to something that would last our great granddaughter for years to come. It arrived with over 1400 pounds of parts. Getting started was a little slow as we learned how to read where to find parts. We were able to move the turbo slide to suit our landscape needs. We are four days in with the treasure trove and only have the add on windows left. We are 68 and 70 installing the Treasure Trove. I have personally tried out every part, mainly because I realized climbing under those bars meant I kept hitting my head. To the turbo slide got its first initiation. I learned quickly to tuck my knees up and my feet kept hitting the sides and stopping me ad I was threatened if I got struck, they weren't unscrewing it to get me out! The wave slide will to see you out for sure as well! We still have the add on windows to complete tomorrow but I am so excited for my great granddaughter to see this when she comes this weekend. I would say the hardest part was the turbo slide and making all the screw holes to line up. But it is sturdy! I have already purchased more accessories (like it wasn't already tricked out!) my one wish is to find a suitable mounted telescope, binoculars that actually magnify suitable for a playset.

A lot of fun!!

DC630 September 28, 2020

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This took a lot more time then the estimate but it's absolutely worth it. Directions are mostly clear and you need to make sure you read through the entire step before starting. I would recommend spending the time sorting the wood by step and labeling all the hardware to make the build go smoother. It took two if us two full weekends to get together but the kids love it!!

good play set

madamegab March 22, 2008

my children love this swing set. It took almost 12 hours to put together, but it is worth it. if the different pieces were labeled, it might help speed things up, but overall I am very satisfied with this product

Fun

beepat March 2, 2008

Although this product took five engineers from 10am till 6pm to put together (with some breaks in between) it turned out great. It is sturdy and it is big. My son loves the tire swing. The rock wall assembly directions were incorrect, it said to place boards three inches apart, but I think they were supposed to be adjacent to one another since it is a ladder instead of a wall now. Only suggestion it to make sure the ground is completely level when building as any slope cause it to lean where the swings are attached. My son just turned two and loves it. We had two kids on the swings and him on the tire swing and it held up well. One more the thing, the opening where the ladder is to get to the deck is small. The adults had a hard time climbing up and in during assembly. Looks great! Hope this helps!

hope this helps

Four boxes of a ton of pieces and a phone book size manual of instructions. The amount of bolts and screws are enough to make one dizzy. Note if you are handy and have patience----Best of luck to you... otherwise pay someone else to assemble for you. We chose to have someone else who has done this before. Two men had it together in about 7-8 hours. A very nice set and the babies love it. Our kids are 2 yrs and 10 mths old. We purchased the gorilla bucket swing and an infant swing. Their smiles and sweet giggles say it all. Its priceless... Definitedly would recommend to anyone

Posts were drilled wrong, and

John L. November 26, 2017

Posts were drilled wrong, and took 2 weeks to get new parts. You should suggest having SEVERAL drills on hand so there's not so much changing bits. Assembly estimate is way too short even with 2 people. Some boards are already shedding splinters as if they have a veneer.

Good but not Great

Ash1234 August 22, 2007

Pros: - Good Value. Hard to find a Redwood/Cedar set at this price level - Seems to be pretty solid - Has lots of activities to keep the kids busy Cons: - A lot smaller than the picture leads one to believe..primarily the height of the entire set is very low and the climbing wall is very narrow. - The tire swing is very low - Assembling is time-consuming and the directions aren't that clear (in fact some pages are cut off from the printing all together) - It's supposed to be pre-stained & sealed but there's a lot of exposed wood so it needs another coat of stain. Hope this helps...
