Gorton's Jumbo Butterfly Shrimp

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these Gorton's Crunchy Breaded Butterfly Shrimp free from Influenster to try and then give my honest opinion. Cooking them is a breeze. There's several ways to cook them. Pop them in the oven, fry them or heat them in an air fryer. We chose to deep fry them in vegetable oil on the stove in a pan. They cooked in just minutes. They're crispy, crunchy, and delicious! The shrimp are good size. Not tiny like popcorn shrimp. The batter tasted like something we would create from scratch. We paired them with homemade French fries for a yummy quick dinner. Definitely something we would purchase again.

Gorton's is a trusted brand when I think of seafood so these butterfly shrimp was a no brainer. They were easy to cook and have such a wonderful crunch out of the air fryer. It also doesn't seem like it was old shrimp thrown in a freezer it tasted like fresh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I heated the butterfly shrimp in the toaster oven and it was nice and crispy! There's good flavor to the batter paired with a bit of shrimp in the middle. Overall, it was good, butwould be more complete with a dipping sauce.

They're so easy to cook and it only takes 3 or 4 and I'm full, so this will last me a little while. If you like shrimp, you have to try these. You will love them as much as I do, I promise!!

Serving for 1 person. The packaging contains all the necessary information and instructions for cooking in different ways.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cooked them in the oven and I had to flip them over so that they could be crispy on both sides. I had to leave in the oven longer than instructed but I also didn't let the oven preheat so that could have been a factor. Next time I'll use the air fryer. Once they were done they did have a nice crunch to them. They are smaller than the picture on the box but they are a nice snack

You indicate the serving size as approximately "5" and there are "3" servings in the box, which equals 15. Well, I must have hit the jackpot! I had 21 shrimp in the box!!! well, okay, many of them were tidbit size - not even a full bite, and the biggest ones were just one bite... So I paid all that money for 21 bites of food. not buying this product again. Yes, I'm the same person who quit buying your fish fillets when you reduced the number from 12 to 10 and then reduced the size of the fillets as well, but at the same price of course...

I was excited to try the Shrimp, as I had them for my Friday Lenten meal. I was very disappointed in the product as a whole. The shrimp were nonexistent and the batter just wasn't very good. I checked the date on the product to make sure the store hadn't sold me a outdated product, but that wasn't the case. I was just not satisfied and won't purchase them again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did not care for these at all. I cooked them in the air fryer and they came out nice and crispy. That was the only good thing about them. The shrimp had way too much breading and not enough meat. I would not recommend or buy them again.

I was very disappointed in your butterflies shrimp. They were way to small to butterfly. I expected 6-8 in a package since that style is larger. The temp of 425 is at least 25 degrees too high but it's the first time I have purchased them, they have been twice as big, so I went for 425. I turned after 10 minutes and realized how small they were and shrinking. So I gave them the minimum time, 6 more minutes. For dinner I had over cooked tiny shrimp with crust so crisp and dark they were unpleasant to eat. Very disappointed.
