Gotham: The Complete Series (DC) (DVD), Warner Bros., Action & Adventure

I bought this from Walmart for the same price as I found on Amazon. I can testify personally that Amazon has a reputations for missing discs. The outside was wrapped in cellophane. I checked all the discs, which were in perfect condition. I am 1/2 way thru season 2 and I love this series. It is more of a detective show with elements of ganster films rather than a superhero film. The evolution of the pre-Batman Bruce Wayne and several of the villians are explored. A must for any diehard Batman fan.

I bought this one for my Brother for Christmas. He is huge fan of the Show.I'm glad I got it the full series and its not Blu-Ray. He enjoys the full series and seasons. Total recommended if your fan of the show.

Liked the show. The series shows bruce when he is still a teen, so you get to see a side of batman that you normally do not get to see.

Already reviewed but love the Gotham series so much I will bore you with my happiness of having this great DVD collection. Happiness is a good thing, why don't you try it for a change.

Season 3 case is all broken I have to buy a replacement case but other that every thing else is good. I wanted to watch Gotham can't wait.

The condition this set arrived in is ridiculous. I wondered why it was marked down to $19.99, but there was no indication on Walmart that this set would be in any less than mint condition. I knew right away when I opened the box though that something was off. The outer sleeve that holds all the seasons was bent and damaged. Only 1 out of the 5 seasons was still individually wrapped and several seasons had clear damage on the outside before even opening them. Another bad sign was when I lifted one of the seasons to check the discs and before even opening I could here plastic rattling around in there. Of all the unwrapped seasons each one had damage on the inside. All of them had at least one disc sliding around freely with nothing to mount them to because the plastic was broken off. Season 3 was especially egregious seeing as every single page (not sure exactly what you call it but the pieces that allow you to flip through the discs) on the inside was broken allowing all the pages to move around freely inside the case and made it very annoying to flip through and even try and close the case again. I can't speak to the quality of the discs yet. They all seem to be clean and non seem scratched so I can't really tell if they have been played previously which is at least one good sign. Either way the condition of this set is abhorrent and the seller is being very misleading about the condition of the series. Basically I will have to buy a separate storage solution for this entire set. I would've preferred just to pay more and receive a set in good condition. Haven't decided if it's worth returning or not.
