First of all the bike is really nice. Once you assemble it, which is pretty simple and all necessary tools are included, it is very easy to ride. It has a 3 step motor control for maximum speed. You have a choice of pedal assist, which once you start pedaling the motor will engage and accelerate to the speed you set by the mode control for the motor. You may also use the throttle control on the right handlebar to move the vehicle from stationary without using the pedals. Everything (gears, brakes,etc) were properly adjusted on the one I received and no fine tuning was necessary. The included headlight is LED and very bright. Even has a signal bell on it. The bike is very fun to ride. The only issue to watch out for is Gotrax itself. My bicycle shifts properly, but the disk on the shifter that indicates gear selection is broken (from factory) and does not indicate what gear you are in. When I contacted Gotrax, their response was to basically tell Walmart about it, or ship it back to them (the bike) in it's entirety! Well the whole point of ordering online and delivering to home is to avoid having to go to a store. For the price of the bike I don't care about a $17 part, but the customer service at Gotrax is well, pretty non-existent.

The red color bike is easier for other vehicles to notice when riding on the street.There is ramp on my way to work.But it can make my commute easier.The battery needs to be removed and charged when the it is unlocked by the keys. That's really secure.Good quality!Powerful enough when going uphill! The bike is tall,the tires are normal.I have already bought spare tires just in case.The seat is not too comfortable.Yet I replaced it with the old one from the old bike.These are not that important.It is exactly what I want.

This is my second ebike. very smooth. My first ebike is Hyper 26inch mens. Excellent also. Only difference is Go trax also has a throttle. My family loves both. Both Excellent price. Personally, I don't use the throttle. I'm glad it's there though in case I get hurt or crazy tired. Great back up to know it's there is reassuring if I'm by myself.

The first bike came with the knob for the gear shifter broken off. I blame it on shipping and handling from FedEx. Unfortunately, because this is a new model, GoTrax does not have replacement parts. So I had to repackage the entire bike and send it back for a replacement. It was a minor inconvenience but customer service was great to work with, they even scheduled the pickup for me. The assembly is extremely easy, my 15 yrs. old daughter assembled it for me. The bike has two options; pedal assist and full throttle. There are three modes: slow, medium, and fast. The full throttle also has 7 levels (gears?) to choose from (1-7). And there is a battery-powered light which is good for evening riding. Let the battery charge fully before riding for the first time. The battery has lasted more than a week on a full charge but I haven't rode it longer than 20-30 minutes each night. I was able to attach a bike trailer with ease. I can't even tell the difference with or without the trailer while riding. I loved the bike so much I bought another one for the family. I think this is a great, quality ebike for the price and highly recommend to anyone. It's perfect for those trying to become more active or for those that want to use it as a commuter option. The only complaint I have, as with most bikes, the seat is uncomfortable after awhile. But I find with most bikes the factory seats are uncomfortable and almost always replace the seat. Other than that, I cannot say enough good things about this bike!

The electric bike is extremely powerful as it possesses a 350W motor and a 7-speed Shimano gear system. When I am driving it, I feel that I am driving a BMW. Apart from its efficiency, safety is also my essential concern. The design of dual disc brakes and the aluminum frame meet my expectations. I enjoy driving it during my leisure time.

This bike was way better than the picture and super easy to assemble!! And it was packed nicely. I love this color!!I rode it to work yesterday . Great introduction to e biking. The customer service is good as well! Had a question and they reply me soooo quick.Loving it. Yayyyyyy!

Came in a day earlier which was good. But the wheel's reflectors were down and I wasn't able to find the thing to stick it reflectors to the spokes. Had some scratches on the bike as well. The front wheel is wobbly and needs to be true-wheeled which is JUST great when you're working 16 hrs a day no day off now I have to take my resting-times to get it fixed.

Beware of TERRIBLE customer service from Gotrax. Started riding this bike on August 20, 2022. Over the next three weeks rode 182 miles. (I use the MapMyWalk app set on electric bike setting, so I know exact milage on this bike). As you can see in photo, the back tire is already bald. Gotrax told me tire not covered under warranty and I need to go to a bike shop to have replaced. This can get very pricy every 182 miles, especially when a tire should last for 1000 to 3000 miles. I told them they should have better quality tires on the product they are selling. Air pressure in tires was as suggested on the tire. The customer service reps are not good in the English language, so communication is subpar. As far as the electic assist is concerned, low assist is iffy at best. Mid and high work good but struggle up steep hills. Frame quality is good. I put a different seat on because the one included is uncomfortable. Can definitely get more mileage on battery than advertised. Im 5'10" tall and 29" tires are perfect with the seat raised a couple of inches. 30 day return is not enough and should be for 60 days.

Order the Black Gotrax Alpha, I received an orange bike. In retrospect I don't think this was a mistake. Gotrax had been out of the Black bike all season. I thought it was odd when it suddenly became available but the company appeared to be a reputable company, so I gave it a try. I don't think they have the Black one in stock and I think they're just sending out the orange one, thinking the customer might not go through the hassle of returning it. Well I received it yesterday and returned it today. Let's see how long it takes to get a refund. Be forewarned if you're considering purchasing the Black Alpha bike

Stay far away from this bike. It did not even last until the second charge. I went to charge the battery the second time and the battery is stuck in the bike and I cannot get it out. Gotrax will not respond and walmart says it is gotraxs problem even though I purchased a protection plan
