Well I purchased on Memorial Day weekend sale so a bit cheaper than posted. The riding position is upright and comfortable for sure, generous sweep back handlebars. The seat is comfortable….But if you want to protect your body and spine from unexpected jolts … purchase the the Selle Royalle Gipsy from Walmart with a real pair of dual coil metal springs NOT the elastomer whatever's that do nothing. The power is excellent; the first two levels are soft assist, I'm no kid so with any grade i start with level three. The peddle assist has a very natural feel, the pedals are a lightweight metal alloy with reflectors, and the wheel reflectors are secured with screws not clipped on. As are the comfortable hand grips.
A couple of issues with the GoTrax description and website, my shifter, derailleur and cassette are MicroShift 8 speed not Shimano 7 speed as stated, however; the MicroShift works flawlessly with crisp excellent shifting. Better than advertised, but give the correct info. Sharing an initial problem not able to use the two lowest gears. Thanks to Park Tool video that made derailleur adjustment understandable and easy.
Overall quality from the Frame, finish, rear rack, hydraulic brake's strong gauge spokes. The 2.6 inch tires are large and smooth able to absorb road shock %26 chatter, one reviewer mentioned 3 mm puncture protection, I can't find and brand or model on these tires to confirm hoping they have a degree of protection. Another reviewer had issue with the front shocks, myself no issue at all. I bought by first ebike ten years ago (still going) i can say with all honesty that almost (would like full coverage chain guard) every component is better from the brakes to battery and motor, no rattle aluminum fenders stronger frame all top notch.
