I'm not normally an assembler but this bike was easy to put together.The instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were included.Had it assembled and ready to go in less than an hour.

I don't like the fact that the controller can be changed from 1 to 5, but not to zero, i.e. one can't set the level to off without shutting off the controller completely. The odometer should continue to work when the motor gives no assistance. Also, when the bicycle is standing still or moving with little to no resistance, the motor is too agressive. My gold standard is the TrekTownie Go. Their electric moter assistance is very very suttle and the bicycle rides very much like a regular bicycle. It gives extra power for the hills and when needed. It starts out more like a standard bicycle.

The bike arrived not working, showing an error 4 related to the motor. The front wheel is bent and the brake disks are bent. Contacted the Gotrax customer service to solve the issue. After 2 weeks trying to solve the issue with the bike, the only response I have was the promise to replace the bike. At this moment, I have not received the instructions to send the bike for a replacement. I try my best to communicate the issue and be patient with the Gotrax customer service, but what I'm feeling is there is no other way. I'm starting the return with the Walmart website. I hope to have this purchase in the mirror and buy another e-bike.
