Gourmanity Royal Preserve Fig Jam, Purple Fig Jam Spread, 7.58oz /215gr Jar

This was delicious jam to use with Boursin cheese, and top with chopped pistachios. Great appetizer. Yum!

I love mango, but this is my first experience having it as a jam. It is a very sweet fruit and that is definitely a part of this jam. However, the passionfruitmaracuja adds a tangsourness to it to balance it out. It's a very intense flavor experience, but a pleasant one. You don't need to use as much of this on your toast to get the flavor punch.The texture of this is thick, but not too thick. There are bits of fruit in it which make for a more interesting texture experience. The little pieces of mango are soft and easy to chew. They almost melt right in. I found this to be very enjoyable and unique and would definitely have it again.

We've had this on toast and sourdough English muffins and enjoy the flavor of it. I like that I can recognize all the ingredients (mango, sugar, passionfruit, pectin, lemon juice). Our jar has a best before date almost two years out from when we got it.

Ok, so this is one expensive jar of fruit spread, and fruit spread is probably most appropriateit was a fine mince of fruit almost more like a chutney in consistency than a jam or jelly.Spreads very easily, tastes wonderful; sweet but not as sweet as smuckers, etc, and a more true fruit flavor. I dont use a ton of jamjellywhatever so a jar or 2 a year isnt gonna break me, but it might not be the thing you want to put in your kids pbj for school lunch every day.Wide variety of flavors, i only tried the mango passionfruit but WILL be trying more.

While this comes wrapped in bubble wrap the lid doesn't have a proper seal to it. The lid pops off to easily and doesn't feel that it was sealed properly. However with that said the taste was still good. Not too sweet. You can definitely taste the mango. It's good with my butter on my morning toast.

Even though the lid had a plastic wrap around it, upon opening the package of bubble wrap, the lid popped off and alot of the jam spilled out. I wasnt scared to try it as it had only opened then so I made some buttered toast and smeared this fruity goodness all over and had myself a little tasting with some tea. Mighty good I must say. A bit of sweet and a bit of sour and not to sickening as some of these are so sweet that you cant enjoy too much in one sitting. This one was ok though and I really enjoyed it.

The jar I received was properly sealed and seems perfectly safe. The jam itself isn't overly sweet which makes sense if it's european in origin instead of appealing to an American palette which tends to favor high sugar more. It's good, it is rather thickviscouschunky though. If you wanted to say, spread it very thinly between cake I think you'd have a hard time but for most uses it's great.

the taste was different,its okay fig jam,not really worth the money,was 10 dollars for a 7.28 oz and other than the taste being abit different,it was like a fig jam .

The bag had a very sweet mango smell. Pretty much told me the item had opened in transit. Besides the smell I was going to try it anyway but it lacked fluid and seemed dried out. The smell was kind of off putting so I didn't end up trying it for not knowing how long it was opened for.This kind of thing happens a lot with food items in transit, mostly broken lids, but at least this item didn't shatter.

This is a delicious Mango and Maracuja preserve and I really like it! It goes very well with my 15nut bread and makes a great breakfast sandwich as well as a latenight snack.The preservejam is a bit too sweet but I can kind of taste the mango in there and this makes me not mind the sweetness as much. I do enjoy eating this and I would like to get more when I finish this one.I'm a bit disappointed though because the jar was not properly locked and the jam kind of went out on the plastic that was wrapped around it. You can see this in the pictures. This was disappointing and I didn't even know if I should eat the jam now that it came kind of open but I decided to give it a try anyone.Overall, this is a good and delicious jam, especially for this price! I just hope they make sure the jars are properly locked and sealed.
