Gourmet Garden Cilantro Lightly Dried Herb, 0.35 oz

I was very impressed by the quality of this product and how well it tastes on my tacos 🌮

I don' typically plan my meals and I make what I am feeling that day. This dried cilantro is perfedct for me. I keep in in my fridge and when I need fresh cilantro I know I have it. I could use my typical cilatro spice but it lacks the flavor and freshness of the Gourment Garden Cilatro. It is so easy to use and tastes freshly picked. I love it.

Natural Cilantro that's chopped, lightly dried and sealed into a small plastic container. Has 20 1 tsp servings in small container that must be refrigerated. Takes up minimal space in refrigerator . Once opened is good for 4 weeks. FYI, I have kept longer to add to cooking. Natural ingredients. I simply do not always have fresh on hand and currently have no space to grow. I find it better quality than the small prepackaged herbs you can buy at grocery store. Good cooked or not. Cons: Remembering you have it and to date it with a marker or tape upon opening. Wish Walmart carried this brand in other herb varieties like chives or dill. Has a small amount of seed oil. Note: Picture is of opened one past end of life.

Before I discovered this fresh Gourmet Garden Cilantro, I use to use the standard jar of cilantro. But no more. This is my go-to herb when I want to use Cilantro. Any Mexican-style food you make deserves the Gourmet Garden Cilantro to amp up the flavor and add a new dimension to make your meal taste more authentic.

I like this, it's much easier and convenient than chopping up fresh Cilantro. The best thing is it's just as good, and it'll keep in the fridge if you don't use it all in the dish you're making! I make Chicken Tortilla Soup pretty regularly in a 5 quart dutch oven, and these containers hold just the right amount, (I happen to like a lot of it in my soup), so I almost always use the whole thing in each batch of Chicken Tortilla Soup.

For those that still like a fresh, cilantro product this is nice to have in your kitchen to season your cooking with! It helps cut down time chopping everything up but it isn't exactly unique or groundbreaking. Just a nice solid product to use at home.

It's not the item that I don't like. It's the fact that practically every time I order something from the fresh produce section they have the worst shopper. Most of the time any produce that is ordered is either rotten or it's half way there. Walmart needs to do better training their shoppers.

This product was a huge disappointment. I was making guacamole and added this stuff. I guess I should have smelled it first before adding it. I took a scoop of guac on a chip and was disgusted. Grabbed the little container of cilantro and smelled it. Rotten!! Oh and zero cilantro flavor. Just rotten. Thanks for ruining my guacamole.

I am appalled that this is even on the shelf. The ingredient label is full of chemicals. This was brought as a substitute for fresh cilantro. It smelled like a dirty fish tank and you only get 1/3 of an ounce. This went straight in the trash!! I used my organic dry cilantro instead, as at least the only ingredient is cilantro. 🙄

I LOVE the taste of cilantro! It's not something I eat all of the time though. Fresh goes bad so quickly, so I was very excited to try this lightly dried option that is good for up to four weeks. All I can taste is salt and maybe something green. Generally, salt does enhance the flavors of cilantro, nope, not this one. My BF has the "soap gene" and even he can't taste the soap. I guess fresh is best!
