If you don't have time and/or energy to clean, dry. and chop cilantro, this product is convenient and very close to the flavor of fresh herbs. Put some into plain salsa, black bean soup, guacamole or refried beans- or use it to make your own salad dressing ---it is delicious.
This Gourmet Garden Cilantro Stir In Paste made cooking so much easier. No more tearing and chopping cilantro. The paste had the same amazing taste and smell that cilantro has minus the mess and clean up. Just squeeze, mix, and eat! I received this free in exchange for writing a review.
This seasoning paste worked great! I received a free sample in exchange for an honest review. I made guacamole and used this cilantro paste instead of the dried cilantro that I usually use. It turned out very well! It had the taste of fresh cilantro without the worry of the leftover turned to mush in my fridge. This is a great way to get the taste of fresh seasonings!
This Gourmet Garden paste has a very unique flavor, texture and taste form ny others I have ever tried in the past, it's much smoother and creamier then most others has a bold yet light taste and the flavor stands out and bursts with taste, I t mixes extremely easily well and easy blends very well and adds a unique interesting taste to almost any dish and its great as a dipping paste for vegetable's
I was given a free coupon in exchange for an honest review of Gourmet Garden Cilantro paste. I found the cilantro paste to be easy to use and a great addition to dishes that I would normally chop cilantro for. This is a great option when you don't use enough cilantro to justify having it fresh if it would just end up becoming waste. The flavor is good and I loved having it in pico de gallo or on top of tacos. I can't wait to try it with avocados next!
Surprisingly fresh for a paste and way more convenient than chopping cilantro every time. It blends smoothly into sauces, marinades, and quick weeknight meals, and I love that it lasts so much longer than a bunch of fresh herbs. The flavor isn't quite as bright as fresh cilantro, especially if you're trying to use it as a garnish, but for cooking it absolutely does the job and saves time.
I recently tried the Gourmet Garden Cilantro Stir-In paste and decided to use it to make cilantro lime rice for our taco dinner night. I normally use fresh, but this was a great substitute! It tastes great and was super easy to stir in to the rice and a little lime juice. It ended up being a great side dish with our tacos. Will definitely be using this again, especially if I don't have time to go buy fresh cilantro.
The paste has a sweet and tangy taste to it. Good alternative to fresh cilantro if you can never seem to finish off the fresh bunch. It would be best used in recipes that are on the sweet tangy side or soups that have a bit of salt to counterbalance the sweet tangy taste. Personally, I will stick to fresh cilantro. I got this product for free in exchange for a review.
I read a review that this was horrible but I had to try it myself and I agree. It is gross! I have tried a different brand several years a go that was good and I kept it on hand because my fresh cilantro would go bad very quickly. This is not a good alternative and will never waste my money on it again!
As convenient as this is it is certainly not worth the money. I thought it would be good because I love the ginger and garlic in the tube however I used a half a tube for my cilantro ranch dressing and I could not taste the cilantro at all. Fresh cilantro is so cheap I'd rather risk it going bad than use this product again. Going to try and make my own paste with fresh and water freeze them in ice trays. I think this may work.
