Govee 16.4' RGBIC String Downlights

Govee is a great lighting brand they have a wide variety of lighting products for both indoor and outdoor and one can get hooked after purchasing a single product. The string down lights add a good ambience to your room, they have wide pre defined scenes and also an option for a DIY. This is a great product for you if you love ambient lighting

Install was straight forward, the double-sided tape was strong enough to hold all of them hanging with one stuck on which makes it easy for one person to install at great height. The color were amazing, lets you change them on app with different scenes, static colors, or even to music, overall looks great.

Model: H608B(9.8ft) %26 H608A(16.4ft) %26 H608C(6.7ft) %26 H608D(32.8ft) As stated above these come in sizes starting at 6.7 ft on up to 32.8 ft. They come in white or black. Unfortunately all the sizes and colors aren't available all in one place. Some are available on amazon, the Govee store, the savy user store and others at brick and mortar stores. So look around for the one you want. Today we're looking at what's in the 16.4 ft white downlights. The lights themselves are pretty simple. They are designed to stick to your wall at the ceiling. They are about 1 1/2 inches wide, 2 1/4 inches long, and 1 inch tall. In at least 3 prominent locations the contents of the box let you know the power must be to the right of your lights. I'm going to guess that this is a mistake done often. Unfortunately you can't hang them any other way. The distance between each light is roughly 6 inches. The position of the wire should keep it flush with your ceiling. The app is your typical Govee device app interface. And the lighting on these are very nice. Much like the outdoor permanent pro lights. According to Govee the lighting effect is capable of being thrown 100 cm. These are RGBICWW with 875 lumens on the 16.4 ft. They have tuneable whites with color temperature from 2200 kelvin through 6500 kelvin. These are cutable. But not extendable. You can't buy 2 16.4 ft kits and physically connect them. From the plug to the first light you have 13 ft so plenty of cord to get you from the ceiling to the plug. These are a little pricey. I haven't seen the 6.56 versions but the 9ft is generally around $80 USD up to $199 USD for the 32.8 ft version. Black versions is often not available. I can live with the power from one side only. But I would like to see longer lengths up to maybe 100 ft for larger indoor areas. Another possible improvement would be if the adhesive was not yet attached or it used a command strip/velcro style that could be placed on either the wall side of the light or the ceiling side of the light as some surfaces could be problematic for installation. If you have heavy texture you'd likely have to place these on a board/trim piece and attach that to the wall.

the cokirs are so cibrent and the settings are limitless. the app allows other users to share their creations with me. this has elivated my bedroom to the bext level!

Great product love the lights and the many varietes u can choose. The 3m tape is not the reliable you will need to get more. I stuck mine on back nd top to stick 2 different ways and that seems to do the trick.

Lights are damaged …. Some Bulbs do not work. — Shipping conditions were perfect .. I was gentle handed the item. When done hanging the lights some bulbs didnt work. .. hate to have to take them down dude to damage to walls up to 25 spots of damage might happen — Due to tape on Lights unfortunately .. I will be asking for a replacement lights as soon as I'm over the damage that might come about ….. ugh
