Govee Permanent Outdoor Lights Prism

I've only had these up since Halloween and they were a big hit for the kids that night. I'm still figuring out the crazy number of options for lighting up the house that are offered and look forward to Thanksgiving and of course, Christmas. I researched (YouTube) whether I should get the PRISM or the PRO version and decided on the PRISM. I like the look of the PRO lights if I was only lighting up the house for Christmas since they are spaced tighter together and look more like the traditional Xmas lights. I chose the PRISM lights since the the 3 lens bulb gives me so much versatility throughout the rest of the year for holidays and special occasions. They were easy to put up with a little planning and I coupled them with 8 Govee floodlights so Christmas should be fun this season. Let the Show Begin!!!

These are great. I replaced the original permanent outdoor lights and these are much better. I ended up custom splicing (cutting/soldering/and white outdoor waterproof heat shrink) for a more seamless look as the included splices (even though super easy to use) are way too bulky in my opinion. I also installed a waterproof box to enclose the controller and plug/power supply. Love them.

These lights are absolutely eye-catching and worth every penny. They're incredibly bright and offer endless color combinations that make the whole house pop. This is my first time buying a Govee product, and I'm genuinely impressed, their app is one of the most intuitive and responsive I've ever used. Super user-friendly!

Screwing them all in definitely seemed like the way to go but it came out great! Once I can figure out a taller ladder I'll order more to finish out the house!!

By far the most awesome light setup on the market, easy to install i did it my self and a couple of my neighbors have already come by to ask me about them, 5 stars in my book

We are very happy with our new Govee Prism lights. They add a great curb appeal to our house for whatever the occasion. Halloween, Christmas, 4th of July, etc. Further, the feature of simple white lights can provide a subtle but nice all around look.

The prism likes are brilliant, install was easy for an 81 year old with help of two grandsons. My wife is very, very happy with the prism lights. That's the best possible review when she is Happy. The Govee home Ap will take some time to learn and master…

Love the look of these lights, but where's the black version of the Prism? Most soffits and eaves today are black or dark-colored, and the bright white shell really stands out in a bad way. In my community alone over a thousand homes—none of them use that white trim color. A dark/black option would make installation much more seamless and visually appealing. Please consider adding it!

I'm in love When I built my house 9 years ago, I wanted to add smart lights to the exterior. I can finally do that and I did with the Govee Prisms. I waited and waited for the perfect light to be constructed, and Govee finally did it. From the ease of installation, to the in depth control within the app - I could give this 10 stars.

We purchased the 100' kit and the 200' kit since we wanted to go around the whole house. We have gotten SO many compliments on these! They are very bright and bonus- add a bit of ambient light to our property around the house. We hired someone to install them since we do not enjoy heights but watching them install the lights made me realize that it wasn't difficult to install at all! I will however recommend that anyone who purchases these to buy a couple packs of 5mm Flat Cable Clips (Amazon) to help hold the wire in place in between the lights to help keep from drooping. These are not included in the kit- but should be! Even though they are pulled taught I would imagine that over time they could start to give some slack. Also- the screws that come with the kit to screw in the lights are not quality wood screws and would not go through our hardboard soffitt, so we had to purchase 2" exterior screws from the hardware store which worked beautifully. Overall, I would 100% recommend these however be aware that you might need to purchase the 2 things mentioned. It was annoying that we had to purchase other materials because of what was/ wasn't in the kit.
