I have been using silicone scar strips for 4 years now. these are FANTASTIC when you are: are post op and have no stitches left, they go on by you cutting the length you need, you won't even feel like you have them on they are water proof so you can get them wet, no additives, just silicone film to help prevent scaring. i even use them to cover up if and when kitty has accidentally scratched me. just be sure you are not bleeding and just need a super lightweight skin covering. *always check with you medical provider before using * sensitive skin will love these. they lay flat and smooth to the touch.

I had a cervical disc replacement surgery and was recommended scar tape by the surgery team. I hadn't heard of it. Although I've only used this a few days, I anticipate that it will help support healing into even less of a scar. This is quite a bit of tape for my purpose, so I may have to experiment with some stretch marks on my abdomen as well.
