Better than expected quality machining. Light enough to throw a good distance and sharp edges that dig in %26 grab. I use this to drag logs %26 debris out of our pond. I'm happy with this purchase.

It looks nice; it's cleverly built, well manufactured, and apparently with a very good alloy. It's rated at more than a thousand pounds. I may test it with 500 lb, using a hoist and scale. But the tip of a single hook on concrete held 250 lb, remaining looking brand new, and that may be good enough for me (I'm 180).

Four stars because it works loose during usage when throwing. I use it pulling limbs to direct falling point. But it is functional.

The advertisement shows the claws attached with pins and clips, the one I received is riveted and the claws are not detachable. I specifically wanted the one shown in the ad. Walmart - please make sure these vendors provide the exact product as advertised.
