Much better than store generic brands. I add a tiny amount of coconut extract to boost flavor for my morning coffee. Better to pop small opposing holes with a traditional can opener so that you can put your fingers over the holes then shake the contents before each use because the pureed coconut meat floats to the top when stored in the frig. If you peel back the whole lid, then you cannot shake before each use.
I use this for a coconut poke cake, and I think it has great coconut flavor. I've tried more expensive brands, and I really can't tell much difference. In fact, I remember one being sickenly sweet. This is plenty sweet, trust me, and works well for my cake.
I tried other brands, but Goya is the best for my Mounds Cake. I have already recommended this product to others
The product itself is great but the price used to be the best around, now it cost more than some other stores.
The cream of coconut, that I've always used is sweet. This was not sweet, so we needed to use simple syrup in our Piña Coladas. This led to the coconut flavor being a bit muted. other than that it was a good product.
Goya Foods called this product "cream of coconut", BUT it is not a cream at all. It is a very sweetened syrup with a coconut taste. It contains a pretty long list of emulsifiers, stabilizers, and thickening agents, as well as 18 grams of sugar per 2 Tablespoons. I accidentally ordered this when the recipe called for coconut cream. Poured out the contents and it was too late to save the dish. I'd like to suggest Goya Foods to call this "Sweetened Coconut Syrup" instead.
This was disgusting! Consistency and color are way off from other coconut cream brands. Cans arrived dented. No longer have cans so can't return. Dumped out.
I'm getting a refund on this. This is not coconut cream. It's some kind of nasty oil. It ruined my meal.
This item was received damaged. Although Walmart issued a refund, the credit was never processed into my bank account.
this is a grey, coarse, separated mixture of coconut fat and sugar syrup. I wouldn't serve this or even use this as an ingredient at all.
