Goya Ham Flavor Seasoning, large 3.52 Oz

Cannot say enough about Goya ham seasoning. It's simply the best in every thing. For adding to canned vegetables, it's the bomb for adding that good ole country/soul food taste.

This seasoning is so good in all of your beans. Black-eyed peas, lima beans, butter beans. It just makes them so much better.

I used this to make bean soup to add flavoring instead of using a ham bone. Everyone liked the soup and said how good it was...So much quicker.

Before I ordered this I was reading the reviews and was mentally scoffing at someone who said it didn't taste like anything. I made a pot of cannellini beans and added two packets and it didn't taste like anything! It was a good pot of beans and maybe the MSG in this helped. No detectable ham flavor tho'. I wonder if this is one of those cases where certain people are just unable to detect some things. I'm upset because I broke my Goya boycott to try this.

Product contains pork fat, which I was specifically trying to avoid. I was careful to check ingredients before ordering. This was not included in the online ingredients list. Very disappointed.

I have never used this seasoning. I am waiting to try it.
