My wife discovered Goya Ham seasoning while shopping at a Grocery store with a lot of Hispanic customers. Having worked in a school lunch room and used other ham seasonings. Prior to that and even still sometimes she uses actual smoked pork in green beans, and other southern vegetable dishes, but Goya is a great substitute for quick dishes when it's inconvenient to go to the store for smoked meats. It is even good in addition to flavoring meats. We love it in our house and purchase it regularly at Walmart.

I used it to flavor my green beans. I'm restricted from using processed meats (bacon, ham etc). This gave my beans flavor
