Best salsa I 've ever eaten. Better than restaurant stuff. I get the mild version. Perfect mild heat, wonderfully seasoned. I sautee some chopped onion, add some salsa, add an egg or two, then scramble everything together. Add cheese when egg is almost done. Best omlette ever. Also great with chips.
I love all things spicy. This salsa is quite delicious. I would not describe it as hot, but it still has a really good flavor. It doesn't just taste like tomatoes or vinegar like some of them do.
You can find this Goya salsa in the Mexican food section at Wal-Mart. I always buy this salsa whenever I make chilli, tacos or even spaghetti. Try this salsa..I guarantee you'll buy this every time you shop at Walmart. Enjoy!
Very authentic and tasty for shelf stable salsa!
Best bottled salsa ever!!!!
Flavorful, but lacks spice/heat
First let me say that I haven't tried it yet- just commenting on the ingredients. Beware that the product has been updated and has different ingredients. If you get a bottle with a green cap, it has corn oil, corn starch, and artificial lemon flavor :(
Nothing special, the first mouthful had the outer onion skin which is nearly impossible to chew. Overall, the flavor and ingredients seemed lesser quality. And as far as "mild," it does have some buzz to it. Most of the Walmart store brands are better and also much less expensive per ounce.
I would love to tell you about it, but I didn't receive it.
I picked this up instead of salsa expecting salsa with a kick of cilantro. Not sure what I was tasting but something was very off about it. It was on the sweet side with no definitive tomato taste. Tried it on some chips and not only couldn't finish them, I also tossed the bottle out.
