A friend in Miami taught me how to make Cuban style black beans -- and she used Goya products all the time! These make my black beans taste authentically delicious! I wouldn't use anything else -- wouldn't know how!

A long time favorite
My all-time favorite base for my swiss steak recipe. The taste is phenomenal. Not spicy at all, but very savory.

the flavor I could not do on my own
This is the flavor that I could not achieve on my own. A little of this and a little of that just wasn't happening from an Irish German cook. Goya has the proportion of all flavors that makes food happy on the table and on the fork.

Obviously doesn't taste like fully puertorican sofrito but if you are too lazy to make your own, this one is pretty decent.

it's not new, my wife has used it for many years. We would like W/M to carry more Goya products as they are the best in quality.

Missing Goya Sofrito cooking tomato base
I would recommend the product however I can't tell you how it taste. It never showed up in my packaging today at delivery so I don't know. I will try to order again in the future and then I will give a review then.
