GOYA Sofrito Tomato Cooking Base, 12 oz

I would recommend the product however I can't tell you how it taste. It never showed up in my packaging today at delivery so I don't know. I will try to order again in the future and then I will give a review then.

Just received this a couple days ago. Haven't used it in a recipe yet, hence only the 4-star rating. I did open the jar and gave it a taste test. Passed with flying colors! Looking forward to this easier way to incorporate a ready-made combo additive to my south-of-the-boarder cooking efforts!

This is handy to keep on hand. Sometimes I just don't have everything on hand for a fresh sofrito so if it's a can of beans or a quick rice this is a great alternative.

Expedient delivery and good price.

This is a really great product put out by Goya…adds flavor/spices…to your cooking! I have used this for years…it's much easier to buy this, than to make your own…homemade! It a good value as it can be used many times!

i did not get this item

not sure why this is great...put in soup...not in local stores...shipped cross country..can put ingredients together @home...ok

It was kept in fridge from the time it was opened but it goes bad too quickly. 2nd and last bottle purchased in July was moldly by end the August.

A friend in Miami taught me how to make Cuban style black beans -- and she used Goya products all the time! These make my black beans taste authentically delicious! I wouldn't use anything else -- wouldn't know how!
