Excellent gardening tool for the price. Motor is powerful enough for most situations and will stall if the blade hits solid object, not so powerful as to break the blade or the motor shaft. Backing away from the obstruction restarts the motor. The shaft is a little too short for a 6 foot tall person, wish it were longer. The two batteries are of sufficient capacity to allow several minutes of operation and recharge in a reasonable amount of time. The variety of blades included with the kit are most helpful. Sometimes the main start switch on the handle is a little difficult to depress. The side button switch activates easily.
Perfect light weight trimmer. Much easier to use than lugging around my Ryobi. Plenty of power and a very long run time with two batteries. Comes with a nice assortment of accessories. I really like the metal blades for the tough jobs like woody spouts. Best of all was the price.
As a retiree on a budget with a small front/medium backyard size this cordless edger is a winner. The motor and battery strength last for multiple cuts. Reloading is easy as you get 2 batteries. Charge 1 battery while the other one is cutting the hedges. It is very light-weight which works for my small female hands. The only positive/negative aspect has been the changing of the cutting blade after an extended use. The screw that secures the cutting blade tends to tighten up (positive) after extended use which for my small hands makes changing the blade (negative but very minor) difficult.
overall it's not bad.... you get what you pay for. I used it on some pretty heavy vines along the fence.... the metal blades do a pretty good job. Using it in the yard wasn't as good. The plastic blades break way too easy...I find I still need a string trimmer for the grass.
The 3 star rating is due to the wheels being cheaply made and too flimsy to use. Otherwise it works good and light enough to use.
This was easy to use ~ it was a little difficult to put together ~ I found a video online that showed how to assemble it ~ I am tall and this was a little too short for me, even with the handle pulled out all the way. I was happy with it though and it did what I was hoping it would do ~~
Cheep!! no instructions!. Bolt missing !! for wheel!!! I would not buy this product !! The blades didn't cut or they bent!… Not satisfied!!!….☹️
I regret having to report that this item is absolutely useless. After assembling, I attempted to try it out in grass first. All it did was lay it down. Tried it on weed then: every time blade touched a weed the blade just stopped! So disappointing! Wasted my money!
It shipped without the anti-collision wire frame. Unless they send me one, I can't use it.
It malfunctioned easily. It consumes battery easily.
