GPSMAP 64sx,NA

This garmin works tremendously excellent. I use it for elk hunting in the Rockies and just recently purchased 2 additional of the same kind to gift to my sons. I can walk anywhere and get back to my start area. It also will let you mark favorite hunting areas so that you can go directly back to the spot. Excellent tool and I would recommend it to any one for help with tracking yourself to get where you want to go while traveling in the woods.

Overall good unit, wish the map zoomed a little tighter on marine but I am pleased

This unit operates just like all the old garmin units, which is what I wanted. Build quality feels robust. Doesn't come with a lanyard, which is lame. Preloaded maps are great. Way better than buying microsd cards and having them wiggle loose.

My older model had a more detailed map with names of lakes etc. This unit just has "lake" for any body of water , or "stream," etc no specific names. If you zoom way in there may be more details but generally you want to see an area with the names to determine where to go. It was accurate and I was remote in Northern Maine and although it took a few minutes sometimes it always connected even in heavy overcasts. I only used it for one ten day trip so far but it worked fine in general.
