This radio is a very good radio for the price . The price is reasonable and the features are no frills. You can use it at home with the ac cord or take it outside and use batteries. The ear phone feature is nice if you want to listen to the radio with out disturbing others.

Clear sound, small, and gets the channels we need.

I have owned this very model GPX digital AM/FM radio since 2017. The only problem ever had with it was the ear jack acting up to where it would not let the built in speaker play. I fixed that problem by shorting out the ear jack. AUX input jack works fine. Radio pulls in FM stations better than AM stations. FM comes in very well, and the AUX input lets you connect anything with a 3.5 plug, the standard plug for earbuds, earphones, etc. AM band behaves a little strange, by for example 1400 AM is at 1406 to 1410. Radio sounds very good, built in clock is handy too, but its just for keeping time. Radio has permanently attached AC power cord and can be used on 3 "C" size batteries. Has red power light to show that radio or AUX is on. I would say radio is pretty durable to still be working since 2017. Volume knob adjustments are slightly annoying by position of knob, but not bad. GPX is brand I know, and they have been around since the 1970s. Radio behave much better than the modern pocket radios being sold out there. I say it is ok.
