GPX Soccer Robots BOT2000, Blue and Red, 2 Pieces

My 6 year old son absolutely loved this! He made us have a soccer tournament...best of 5. The remotes are super easy to control. Totally recommend!

They both love remote control cars, but this was a fun way to experience something similar while playing a game and it kept them engaged longer. Very fun!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 and 11 year old have had great fun with their soccer robots. They popped some batteries in, and had it set up in very little time. It comes with two robots, two balls, assessory stickers to put on yourself and the goals. Well made and fun!

This robot soccer game is guarantee for hours and hours of fun! My family and I had a blast playing with these robots off and on "the field." It was nice to have an option to go "lightning fast" or go at a normal speed, based on the age range or what you had to do in the game. It was easy to press the fast button to get the robots to sprint down the field. The robots kicked the ball high. It was entertaining to shoot the ball and score in the nets. The robots even had real looking soccer jerseys. We also enjoyed watching the robots spin in circles. The eyes lit up when the product was turned on, which I thought was a fun feature. Playing on a flat surface yields the best rusults. You are also able to turn the robot and remote on and off, so you can conserve battery life. Make sure to have 5 AAA batteries per robot (robot and remote control) and a small screwdriver to install. Did receive this product as gratis to review the product. Would make a great birthday or holiday gift item!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my roommates and I, and while it was fun, definitely a better purchase for younger kids. It requires a lot of batteries, so it's a nice gift but make sure to include the batteries as well to make it an easier set-up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had this for about a month and my boys have not gotten tired of playing yet. This was a hit with my 13 and 14 year old boys for sure. They enjoy not only playing soccer with them but also enjoying watching them kick each other. They actually move really well and at a good speed on hard floors. They had no trouble getting the hang of the controls even though initially they did think the layout of the controller was upside down. However, once they were able to play they had no trouble working it. Very rarely did they have an issue with the robot not responding which corresponded to the eyes flashing but usually resolved within a matter of seconds. The only con we had is that it wasn't very quick to set up. Putting the batteries in the remote was no trouble but they were confused by the instructions for putting the batteries in the robot. It didn't mention there was a battery box screw that needed to be undone and didn't show it in the instructions illustration either. To assemble the goal requires some strength as does popping the ball guards into the robots.

This is a cute set-up, however one of our robots didn't control correctly. We exchanged it, and upon receiving the new set, now the red robot cannot be controlled with the remote. He only can kick and won't move left or right, forward or backward. :( It's a shame because the blue one is super cute and a lot fun. Guess we got a dud both times. We will be returning again unfortunately.

I was so excited to receive my order earlier than expected. I still think the toy would be great for a 9-year old who loves soccer, but sadly, I cannot give this as a Christmas gift like I'd planned. The package and items are filthy and look like they were returned. I'm so disappointed, but there is no way to make this presentable. This was my first time buying from this vendor, and now I'm searching for a new gift at the last minute.
