tires hold up well on my jk running tire pressure at 42 pounds. i drive through all kinds of weather. the tires being wide do create wandering in slush and heavy rain, driving sanely helps with this. it took a lot of weight to balance some of the tires. once mounting and balancing was done it's smooth driving for a jeep.
Great tires two have and installed very quite.
awesome performance tire
the best long lasting tire for florida roads, my original set lasted over 70k miles and still had some life left, so isold the old tires for $35 each, they are excellent in rain and sand in florida
These are a good looking tire good quality, due to the fact I'm having the transmission rebuilt I haven't had them in the road yet. But they arrived in two days after ordering them at a good price
I grew up with generals when I was 16 years old. They were on my first car. Now that I'm 68 I just Dodge RAM it had Bridgestone dueller. I immediately removed them and on General's ATX
These are a 10ply tire for 3/4 ton pickups and up. Ive always gotten great wear and ride out of them. Just the right tread for a great all around all terrain tire. Would definitely recommend!!
4/5 stars because there's room for improvement. I put around 55k miles on a set of 4 Grabber ATX (LT265/75/r16)(41psi) and around 10k on same size spare on a 2017 Tacoma 4WD. Due to alignment issue, 1 tire wore faster along one edge otherwise the wear is remarkably even and I could probably put another 5-10k miles on them. Most miles on pavement between socal beaches and hot arizona deserts. Hundreds of miles on hot desert hard-pack terrain, some gravel roads, and also desert sand under moderate truck load and they did exceptionally well. Never suffered any punctures. No traction issues under dry conditions. Some rear-wheel traction loss when accelerating from stop in wet conditions when unloaded otherwise did well stopping and in heavy rain. Never experienced hydroplaning w/these even though i tried although did surprisingly well under snow/slush conditions. It did ok expelling mud from tread but they didnt earn my trust to commit fully in heavy mud conditions. Original GY Wrangler AT stock tires were horrible. BFG KO2 were not any better. Grabber ATX has been best overall for my uses. I'm purchasing another set, including spare, one at a time over next 5 mos.
So far, so good. Ordered Online, shipped to local Walmart Service Center, and had installed there on my F-150. I did purchase road hazard warranty and lifetime balance at store. I bought Load Range E, since I pull a trailer.
I arrived at the tire after they were finally able to fix whatever technical difficulty they had with my tire online order. The first thing out of their mouths was Oh crap because I was there at 6:10 and they close at 7:00. My truck was finally done at 7:35, I paid for the installation and drove home. The truck shook when I got above 60 mph so I figured that they hadnt properly balanced the tires so I took It back , they said that some of the tires were off balance. Why couldnt they properly balance them to begin with ? I still have slight shaking in my truck but plan to take them somewhere else because I dont have confidence in their ability to correctly balance the tires. I was also charged for lifetime balance without being asked. Ive already had an issue with this auto center but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt but they have proved to me that they are truly incompetent. I took my truck to the auto center at Craig and Scott Robinson in North Las Vegas Nevada
