Grabber Outdoors The Original Space Brand Emergency Survival Blanket, Silver, 3oz. 56" X 84"

For the low price, I have extra peace of mind, applying a piece of this thin, silver material to the opening of a cat shelter we made out of a large clear storage container to protect a neighborhood cat who wants to be outdoors. It acts as one more barrier. I have layers of lightweight material to act as a door but allows the cat to get in and out of his shelter easily. I'm happy this emergency blanket was available, and hopefully it is working to keep the outdoor kitty a little warmer and away from the wind, rain and snow.

The blanket is exactly what I wanted. It's good for the car in case I ever get into a situation where the car isn't working and I need to keep warm.

Theses blankets are strong and durable and can be reused if handled correctly. I will be buying more for car and my camping equipment.

I haven't needed this yet but for the price you should have one or two around just in case.

A must for every bug-out bag and camping kit.

not a blanket by any stretch of the imagination-- but a useful compact coverup with a shiny metallic, water resistant surface to cover you or items in a -weather- situation. reflective surface could come in handy to signal for help as well as help keep you dry and hold in some body heat. very fragile material but it is an emergency item not a life long usable item-- good to have however and very compact and light weight for a backpack or vehicle glove box. I received two silver/silver covers as I had hoped rather than the yellow/silver shown. beware a slight breeze will take this away- feather-lite material.

I purchased 3 of these space blankets as replacements for some I carry in my car. I have not had to use them in an emergency situation yet, but did get to use them as wind breaks/cover for us when we had some bad weather roll in on us, they do work well. I would recommend you carry a couple of these in your car.

Purchased to add to emergency kit. The product came quickly; however, the box seems very small for an emergency protective sheet, which appears to potentially indicate the product may be thin and of substandard quality. It's not an item one would remove from the box until it is needed. The price was more than others. Hopefully, I will not need to use it anytime soon.

These are a low quality version of the originals that would likely not serve their INTENDED use outdoors and should really be avoided for that purpose. HOWEVER, if you are aware that these bags do have a metal content and that they still do and have uses that might require THAT need the semi-good news is they can be used for protection and defense if they are floded in quarters. The price I paid was under $4.00 u.s.d. and for any other purpose I would say that that was almost too much. As seems to be the norm another greedy company has ruined a once GREAT product. I have bags that I bought back in mid 2000s that I use daily and they are still in good condition and hold up, while in comparison I've managed to tear two of these just unfolding them out of the box while being very careful in doing so.
